Their monitoring in urban regions is essential for policymakers and the population. In this study, the electromagnetic intensity (EMI) was measured around 30 stations of base transcriptive stations (BTS) at both distances lower than 20m and higher than 200m using real-time equipment SMP2-dual in summer and winter. Results have shown that EMI in summer (range: 2-6500 mW/m2) was more than in winter (1.

Background: Previous researches on the effect of low-fat diet (LF) on insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), and its binding proteins (IGFBPs) did not reach a consensus result, and there is no study summarizing these findings. Thus, this systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized control trials (RCTs) was performed to pool available evidence and answer the question whether dietary fat can affect IGF-1 and IGFBPs or not.
Methods: PubMed, Scopus, ISI Web of Science, Google, Google scholar, ProQuest, and the Cochrane Library were searched without language restrictions until July 2, 2024 to retrieve related studies.

Introduction: : Metformin, an oral hypoglycemic agent, is generally used as the first-line treatment in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. The response to metformin varies between patients, and its mechanisms remain incompletely understood. Genetic variations in proteins involved in the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of metformin, like OCT1 transporter, are suspected to explain this difference.

The avian influenza A (H7N9) virus, which circulates in wild birds and poultry, has been a major concern for public health since it was first discovered in China in 2013 due to its demonstrated ability to infect humans, causing severe respiratory illness with high mortality rates. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a total of 1568 human infections with 616 fatal cases caused by novel H7N9 viruses have been reported in China from early 2013 to January 2024. This manuscript provides a comprehensive review of the virology, evolutionary patterns, and pandemic potential of H7N9.
