In this study, the fabrication of magnetic hemicellulosic composite microspheres and the adsorption of copper ions are explored. The microspheres were prepared by the micro-emulsion technique, using FeO nanoparticles and hemicellulose extracted from wheat straw with the ionic liquid B[mim]Cl as a solvent. FeO nanoparticles, synthesized through coprecipitation, were evenly encapsulated within the hemicellulosic microspheres.

Smart fish farming faces critical challenges in achieving comprehensive automation, real-time decision-making, and adaptability to diverse environmental conditions and multi-species aquaculture. This study presents a novel Internet of Things (IoT)-driven intelligent decision-making system that dynamically monitors and optimizes water quality parameters to enhance fish survival rates across various regions and species setups. The system integrates advanced sensors connected to an ESP32 microcontroller, continuously monitoring key water parameters such as pH, temperature, and turbidity which are increasingly affected by climate-induced variability.

Vaccine acceptance is a crucial component of a viable immunization program in healthcare system, yet the disparities in new and existing vaccination adoption rates prevail across regions. Disparities in the rate of vaccine acceptance result in low immunization coverage and slow uptake of newly introduced vaccines. This research presents an innovative AI-driven predictive model, designed to accurately forecast vaccine acceptance within immunization programs, while providing high interpretability.

Context: Glioblastoma (GBM), well known as grade 4 tumors due to its progressive malignant features such as vascular proliferation and necrosis, is the most aggressive form of primary brain tumor found in adults. Mutations and amplifications in the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) contribute to almost 25% of GBM tumors. And thus, VEGFR has been declared the primary target in glioblastoma therapeutic strategies.

We collect the data from the IMF's financial access survey and construct a multidimensional FI index. Based on the FI index, we divide the sample into two sub-samples (med-high level and low-level FI countries).

This paper examines the impact of the Monetary Policy Uncertainty (MPU) of the United States on Asian developed, emerging, and frontier stock markets using a Quantile-on-Quantile (QQR) approach by using monthly data from January 2006 to December 2022 of 14 Asian countries. The study finds that US monetary policy significantly negatively influences Asian stock markets. This is primarily due to the widespread use of the US dollar as a universal currency, resulting in substantial ripple effects on other nations through trade relationships.

To rationalise the binding of specific ligands to RNA-quadruplex we investigated several naphthalene diimide ligands that interact with the non-coding region of Pseudorabies virus (PRV). Herein we report on the x-ray structure of the naphthalene diimide ND11 with an RNA G-quadruplex putative forming sequence from rPRV. Consistent with previously observed rPRV sequence it assembles into a bimolecular RNA G-quadruplex consisting of a pair of two tetrads stacked 3' to 5'.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) poses a significant global health challenge with high morbidity and mortality rates. This study investigates the role of LY6G6D, a member of the LY6/uPAR superfamily, in CRC. Employing a bioinformatic approach, we analyzed LY6G6D expression across different cancer types, compared it with known oncogenes in CRC, explored the involved genomic alterations, and assessed associated clinicopathological characteristics.

Periodontitis is an inflammatory periodontal disease defined by the progressive loss of tissues surrounding the tooth. Ampicillin is an antibiotic for managing and treating specific bacterial infections, including periodontitis. Periodontal pockets occur due to periodontal disease progression and act as a natural reservoir that is easily reachable for the insertion of a delivery system, and the amount of drug to be released has a major role in the efficiency of treatment of the disease.

This research is based on the analysis of Monkeypox transmission, from may 7, 2022 to October 11, 2022, in 30 most affected countries around the globe. The most affected countries are selected through the cut point of at least 100 reported confirmed cases of infected persons over the aforementioned time span. We novely argue the exhibition of distributional similarities between the viral flow and well known power law in context of this neglected zoonotic disease.

This study inspects the impact of environmental deterioration and income on longevity and fertility in Asian countries, specifically the nations that are highly vulnerable to extreme weather. The study examines the data, covering two decades from 2000 to 2019. The empirical conclusions of the panel ARDL-PMG and the CS-ARDL econometric models indicate that environmental degradation leads to a decline in birth rate and life expectancy, while a rising income has a significant influence over longevity.
