Purpose: To assess the adverse drug reactions (ADR) of tetracaine among patients referred to an eye emergency department in the southeast of Iran.

Methods: In this case series study, we assessed 31 eyes of 24 patients who were referred due to adverse effects of ocular anesthetics during2017-2020. We collected the data, including age, sex, job, how the medicine was obtained, symptoms, examination results, and ADR.

Background: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma is one of the most important malignancies, worldwide. Oncogenic viruses, such as human papilloma virus (HPV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), are linked to these cancers and studies suggest a possible interaction between HPV and EBV during co-infections to promote oncogenesis. The exact etiology of MS is still unclear, but recent studies have shown the possibility of infectious agent involvement such as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in MS pathophysiology. In this study, CD3  CD8  T cells of 25 new case MS patients were compared with healthy donors for expression of exhaustion marker, PD-1, using flow cytometry.

Depression and Self-Efficacy Among Iranian Children During the Prevalence of COVID-19 Disease.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak has quickly endangered the physical and mental health of people in the community, particularly vulnerable people such as children. This study was carried out to investigate the depression and self-efficacy of Iranian children during the COVID-19 outbreak. This cross-sectional research was conducted on 321 students aged 8 to 17 in southeast Iran.

Traumatic Globe Enucleation After Blunt Head Injury.

We report a 57-year-old female with left globe enucleation following head trauma after falling. The left globe was intact and protruded from the orbit. A CT scan revealed anterior globe protrusion with avulsions of the optic nerve and the extraocular muscles with posterior-lateral dislocation of the left lateral orbital wall.

Bilateral Central Serous Chorioretinopathy After Treatment of COVID-19 Infection.

Effectiveness of Nano Bioactive Glass Fiber Loaded with Platelet-Rich Plasma on Thermal Wound Healing Process in Rats.

In this study we evaluated the impact of topical application of bioactive glass fibers loaded PRP on a deep seconddegree thermal wound and its healing process sub-streaming molecular pathway of re-epithelialization. Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups: normal control group, model group (deep second-degree thermal wound), PRP group, and PRP+nanobioactive glass fiber group. After treatment, the changes of wounds were observed daily.

A rare case of cutaneous mucormycosis in the forearm: A case report.
