Challenges and support experienced by family caregivers seeking antiretroviral therapy services for children living with HIV/AIDS: a phenomenological study in Ghana.

Background: Family caregivers of children living with HIV/AIDS in most cases are found to be overwhelmed and under-resourced, yet they are believed to be the primary source of support for children living with HIV/AIDS. Family caregivers experience different challenges that affect their children's antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence.

Aim: This study explored the lived experiences of family caregivers of children living with HIV/AIDS who sought ART services for these children at the St Joseph's Hospital of Jirapa, Ghana.

Background: Endocardial cardiac resynchronization therapy (eCRT) avoids the limitations and failures of coronary sinus (CS) resynchronization. However, data regarding long-term outcomes are lacking.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to report the long-term outcome of eCRT performed using the Jurdham procedure in a real-world setting.

Areca (betel) nut chewing habit among high-school children in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Micronesia).

Objective: To investigate the prevalence of its use by high-school children in Saipan in Micronesia. Usage of the areca nut is indigenous to south Asia and the western and south Pacific. Some serious health effects of areca nut chewing are recognized and the International Agency for Research on Cancer has recently classified regular use of areca nut as being carcinogenic to humans.
