Introduction: First introduced in Europe in the 1970s, dual mobility total hip arthroplasty (DM-THA) has gained popularity over years due to the reduced dislocation rates compared to standard THA. However, intraprosthetic dislocation (IPD), a rare complication where the femoral head separates from the polyethylene (PE) liner, remains a potential complication.

Initial experience with 3D laparoscopic choledochal cyst (CDC) excision and hepatico-duodenostomy (HD) in 21 children.

Introduction: Minimal access surgery has gradually become the standard of care in the management of choledochal cysts (CDC). Laparoscopic management of CDC is a technically challenging procedure that requires advanced intracorporeal suturing skills, and hence, has a steep learning curve. Plugged percutaneous liver biopsy using Tru-cut needle and coils: A retrospective study.

Background: Plugged percutaneous liver biopsy, though has been in use for many years, is being used more frequently in patients in whom percutaneous liver biopsy is contraindicated due to proven or probable bleeding tendencies. We report our experience with this procedure, its indications, efficacy, and complications in Indian population over 2 years.

Methods: A retrospective study of 127 consecutive patients who had undergone plug liver biopsy from April 2017 to May 2019 was done from the database maintained in our department.
