Background: Atrophy and fatty infiltration of the supraspinatus (SS) muscle are prognostic indicators of poor functional outcomes and higher retear rates after rotator cuff repair. While older patients, female patients, and those with massive and retracted rotator cuff tears are at a higher risk for these indicators, it is unclear whether tear characteristics, acromion morphology, and acromioclavicular (AC) joint arthritis affect SS atrophy in older patients with chronic shoulder pain.
Purpose: To investigate the multifactorial influences associated with SS atrophy in rotator cuff tears.

White epidermoid cysts are rare intra-cranial lesions with an intrinsic brainstem location, though still rare. The location of the tumour poses radiological confusion and a therapeutic dilemma. Neuroimaging techniques like MRI with diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in this case proved a useful tool in ruling out other pathologies at this location with certain morphologic similarities.

But it has been observed that young people and children frequently participate in low levels of PA, which is especially noticeable when they progress from primary to secondary school. Thus, in order to improve physical health among school-going children, different schools should put in place school-based PA intervention programs.

Recurrent spontaneous abortions (RSA) is defined as a loss of two or more consecutive clinically recognized pregnancies before the 20th week of gestation. Purpose: Data on the polar vessel sign (enlarged feeding vessel terminating in parathyroid lesions) on four-dimensional computed tomography (4D-CT) is limited. We performed a retrospective analysis to determine the prevalence, predictors, and adjunctive utility of polar vessel sign in pre-operative 4D-CT of patients with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT).
Methods: One radiologist blinded to the patients' details reported the 4D-CT of eighty-four operated patients with histopathology-proven single-gland PHPT.
