[The value of the anamnesis and physical examination in surgical pathology of the thyroid gland. Report on 423 thyroidectomies].

The purpose of this paper is to present a retrospective study of 423 cases of surgical pathology of the thyroid gland. All the cases underwent surgery during a period of 11 years. The data gained through these ways were statistically studied and compared with those provided by histological diagnosis, with the aim of searching any clinic situations that can lead to the suspicion of oncological pathology of the gland.
