Based on the polynomial theory, the error propagation characteristics of the widely used N-step discrete Fourier transform (N-DFT) phase-shift algorithm were analyzed via theoretical analysis, under the effect of Gamma distortion and phase detuning. The results showed that the N-DFT algorithm could not simultaneously suppress both types of error. A robust linear phase-shift (RLPS) algorithm was designed, the performance of the RLPS and 8-DFT algorithms in terms of spectral response, detuning robustness, and was briefly analysis by Manuel Servin method.

Background: The purpose of this study was to identify the clinicopathologic characteristics and prognosis of upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) patients complicated with aristolochic acid nephropathy(AAN) after radical nephroureterectomy (RNU).

Methods: The clinical data of 42 UTUC patients with AAN (AAN group) and 238 UTUC patients without AAN (Non-AAN group) were retrospectively reviewed. All patients received a RNU with excision of bladder cuff.

Department of Pathophysiology, College of Basic Medical Sciences, Jilin University, 126 Xinmin Street, Changchun, 130021, Jilin, PR China. Electronic address:

Globally, prostate cancer remains a challenging health burden for men as it is the second leading cause of cancer death in men and about one in nine will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. Enhanced expression of COX-2 and Glut-1 proteins are reported as major factors leading to the origin and progress of prostate cancer through modulating the associated signaling pathways. In this study, we have synthesized a multifunctional liposomal system containing celecoxib and genistein drugs.

Purpose: According to the severity of knee valgus, different operative approaches were applied in total knee replacement. Hence, we assessed the safety and efficacy of different operative approaches in the level IV study.

Methods: From May 2011 to March 2014, a retrospectively analysis was conducted among 31 patients with knee valgus (mild in 10 cases, moderate in 8 cases and severe in 13 cases based on Keblish grade).

Inheritable colorectal cancers (CRC) accounted for about 20% of the CRC cases, such as hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC), Gardner syndrome and familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). A four-generation Han Chinese family was found affected with polyposis in colons. Inferred from the pedigree structure, the disease in this family showed an autosomal dominant inheritance model.
