Background: Endoscopic forceps biopsy (EFB) lacks precision in diagnosing indeterminate tumors. When the presence of early gastric cancer (EGC) is macroscopically suspected, but biopsy pathology fails to give a diagnosis of neoplasia, it causes problems in clinical management.
