Emergency shelters are multifunctional spaces that provide safe refuge, essential life protection, and rescue command for residents in case of urban disaster. Accurate evaluation of atmospheric environmental vulnerability characteristics and understanding driving mechanisms are crucial for effective air pollution monitoring and prevention. This study focuses on the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region and employs the Vulnerability-Scoping-Diagram (VSD) model framework to establish an index system for assessing atmospheric environmental vulnerability based on exposure, sensitivity, and adaptability, combining the entropy value method and adopts Geographic Information System (GIS) for the time change and spatial evolution analysis, and finally utilizing the factor detection and interaction in Geodetector to explore the contribution degree of each driving factor of atmospheric environmental vulnerability and the exchange of influencing factors.

Food chain contamination by soil lead (Pb), beginning with Pb uptake by leafy vegetables, is a threat to food safety and poses a potential risk to human health. This study highlights the importance of two ecologically different earthworm species (the anecic species and the epigeic species ) as the driving force of microbial hotspots to enhance Pb accumulation in the leafy vegetable at different Pb contamination levels (0, 100, 500, and 1,000 mg·kg). The fingerprints of phospholipid fatty acids (PLFAs) were employed to reveal the microbial mechanism of Pb accumulation involving earthworm-plant interaction, as PLFAs provide a general profile of soil microbial biomass and community structure.

By constructing a "measure-representation-mechanism" research paradigm of mental vulnerability, this manuscript explores the mental vulnerability measures, spatial representations, and influencing factors of affordable housing residents in Fanghe Garden in Guangzhou by combining the mental vulnerability questionnaire (MVQ) and the structural equation model (SEM). First, the residents of Fanghe Garden had a higher mental vulnerability, difficulties in interpersonal interaction, and lower well-being.
