Methods: We retrospectively investigated the relationships between the intraoperative TTFM variables and preoperative FFR values of the target coronary arteries in 40 in situ left internal thoracic artery (LITA) grafts to the left anterior descending artery (LAD), which were revealed to be patent on postoperative computed tomographic angiography.

An English-language version of these guidelines was created based on the contents of the original Japanese-language version.

Methods: Members of the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the Japanese Association for Acute Medicine were selected and organized into 19 committee members and 52 working group members.

The treatment of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) is still a challenging problem in the neurosurgical field. The deep-seated AVMs are a definite indication for radiosurgery for the small AVMs and with pre-embolisation for the large AVMs. The superficial AVMs are a good indication for surgery.

Arterial reconstruction of the posterior segment after central bisegmentectomy and caudate lobectomy.

A 71 year old woman was admitted with jaundice and found to have a tumor originating from the cystic and common hepatic ducts, which infiltrated the origins of the right bile duct and duct of Spiegel. The tumor was also shown to encase the right hepatic artery. A central bisegmentectomy with concurrent caudate lobectomy was performed using the right gastroepiploic artery for reconstruction of the posterior segmental branch of the right hepatic artery.

Contact sensitivity and cross-reactivity of budesonide.

5 cases of allergic contact dermatitis due to budesonide are described. We studied the antigen determinant structures in these cases by applying patch tests with several substances related to budesonide. 2 cases showed cross-reactions to both amcinonide and prednisolone acetate.
