The information and communication technology (ICT) industry plays a vital role in high-quality development process but contributes significantly to carbon emissions due to its high energy consumption. Therefore, it is crucial to identify the factors influencing carbon emissions in the ICT industry to achieve carbon neutrality goal in China. Here, this study calculates the carbon emissions of ICT industry from 2000 to 2021 in China and analyzes factors influencing carbon emissions in the ICT industry by extending the stochastic impacts by regression on population, affluence, and technology (STIRPAT) model.

Exploring real estate blockchain adoption: An empirical study based on an integrated task-technology fit and technology acceptance model.

This study aims to assess the factors affecting the adoption of BCT in real estate by the lens of an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Task-technology fit (TTF). This current study uses quantitative survey approach.

The evolution of the spatiotemporal relationship between urban economic growth and health resources within the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration provides an important context for understanding the regional development dynamics in China. Previous studies focused on equity in health-resource allocation and service efficiency, often overlooking the allometric growth relationships between health resources and economic variables. This study employs an allometric growth model to elucidate the changing interactions between the number of medical beds, doctors, and urban economic indicators in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2009 to 2022.

Ascertaining the Environmental Advantages of Pavement Designs Incorporating Recycled Content through a Parametric and Probabilistic Approach.

Reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) is a widely used end-of-life (EoL) material in asphalt pavements to increase the material circularity. However, the performance loss due to using RAP in the asphalt binder layer often requires a thicker layer, leading to additional material usage, energy consumption, and transportation effort. In this study, we developed a parametric and probabilistic life cycle assessment (LCA) framework to robustly compare various pavement designs incorporating recycled materials.

However, the validity of this archetype requires further investigation, ideally within a theoretical framework that can elucidate this association and its generalisability to other vaccines. This study aims to confirm key HCP archetype characteristics associated with SIV, as informed by prior qualitative research findings, and test the generalisability of the association between this archetype and SIV to COVID-19 vaccine acceptance.

Background: While the clinical application of SII-ONCO-Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is well established in Greece, there is a lack of real-world data on its effectiveness and safety. This retrospective, observational, multicenter, chart-review study aims to provide real-life data on the effectiveness and safety of SII-ONCO-BCG in patients with intermediate- and high-risk NMIBC.

Methods: From January 2016 to December 2023, medical records from six hospital centers were reviewed for adult patients with histologically confirmed stage Ta or T1 NMIBC (with or without carcinoma in situ [CIS]) who received at least one maintenance course of SII-ONCO-BCG after induction.

When Healthcare Professionals Use AI: Exploring Work Well-Being Through Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Job Complexity.

This study examines how the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by healthcare professionals affects their work well-being through the satisfaction of basic psychological needs, framed within Self-Determination Theory. Data from 280 healthcare professionals across various departments in Chinese hospitals were collected, and the hierarchical regression and regression were analyzed to assess the relationship between the use of AI, psychological needs satisfaction (autonomy, competence, and relatedness), and their work well-being. The results reveal that the use of AI enhances work well-being indirectly by increasing the satisfaction of these psychological needs.

To enhance emergency management and public opinion governance, improve the accuracy of forecasting group emotional responses, and elucidate the complex pathways of multi-factor coupling in the formation of group emotions, this study constructs a theoretical framework grounded in the social combustion theory. Through web scraping and text sentiment analysis, group emotional tendencies were measured in 40 public emergency cases from the past five years. Using the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method, the study explored the coupling, configuration effect, and formation pathways of factors such as "burning substance", "accelerant", and "ignition" in the emergence of group emotions.

Transformational Leadership, Organizational Resilience, and Team Innovation Performance: A Model for Testing Moderation and Mediation Effects.

This study adopts transformational leadership as the research subject and aims to explore the effect of transformational leadership on organizational resilience and team innovation performance: to test the mediating role of organizational resilience between transformational leadership and team innovation performance, as well as to examine the moderating role that environmental uncertainty performs in the process of the mediation. By analyzing the data collected from a questionnaire, this research discovered that transformational leadership has a positive effect on team innovation performance, which is mediated by organizational resilience. This relationship is more significant when environmental uncertainty is considered as a moderator in the mediation process.

Willingness and determinants of elder care modes among elderly individuals: insights from underdeveloped regions in Western China.

Background: The aim of the present study was to investigate the willingness of elderly individuals regarding their choice of elderly care modes in underdeveloped regions of Western China and to identify the key factors influencing the willingness.

Aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) is a targeted product for liquid fuel fires and has the benefits of a long storage period and high fire extinguishing efficiency. However, because of the toxicity and bioaccumulation of the core raw material's long-chain fluorocarbon surfactant, traditional AFFF is being phased out. For this reason, three efficient AFFFs (F-1, F-2, and F-3; more details in Table 2) were designed using anionic surfactants (PBAF) with branched C perfluorinated chains, hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), and dodecyl dimethyl betaine (BS-12) as core materials.

Purpose: This study explored the effect of four different smoking statuses (non-smokers, moderate smokers, heavy smokers, and former smokers) on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) among residents aged 15 years and older in Sichuan Province, China with consideration of potential differences among age groups (young, middle-aged, and older adults).

Methods: The EQ-5D-5L utility index and EQ-VAS score were used to measure HRQOL. Self-reporting and salivary cotinine test were used to determine the smoking status of respondents, and the Tobit regression model was used to explore the relationship between smoking status and HRQOL.

Nevertheless, when discussing the relationship between DT and ESER, existing studies have seldom considered the external influence of the regional innovation environment. Taking a research sample of 270 Chinese cities, this paper conducts an empirical study on the effect of DT on ESER, focusing on the moderating effect of the urban innovation environment.
