Purpose: The process of searching for and selecting clinical evidence for systematic reviews (SRs) or clinical guidelines is essential for researchers in Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). However, this process is often time-consuming and resource-intensive. In this study, we introduce a novel precision-preferred comprehensive information extraction and selection procedure to enhance both the efficiency and accuracy of evidence selection for TCM practitioners.

Falling is an emergency situation that can result in serious injury or even death, especially in the absence of immediate assistance. Therefore, developing a model that can accurately and promptly detect falls is crucial for enhancing quality of life and safety. In the field of object detection, while YOLOv8 has recently made notable strides in detection accuracy and speed, it still faces challenges in detecting falls due to variations in lighting, occlusions, and complex human postures.

Precarious employment (PE) is a major determinant of population health and contributor to health and social inequities. The purpose of this article is to synthesize and critically appraise available evidence on labor market initiatives addressing PE identified through a systematic review. Of the 21 initiatives reviewed, grouped into four categories-labor market policies, legislation, and reforms; union strategies; apprenticeships and other youth programs; social protection programs-10 showed consistently positive outcomes and 11 a combination of negative, mixed, or inconclusive outcomes.

Power distance, the extent to which individuals in an organization accept unequal distributions of power, significantly influences workplace dynamics, particularly in shaping individuals' willingness to engage in prosocial behaviors. Previous research suggests that individuals with high levels of power distance tend to exhibit more self-centered behavior, making them less inclined to act charitably. In contrast, individuals with lower levels of power distance are more likely to engage in prosocial actions.

Overexploiting ecosystems to meet growing food demands threatens global agricultural sustainability and food security. Addressing these challenges requires solutions tailored to regional agro-ecological boundaries (AEBs) and overall agro-ecological risks. Here, we propose a globally consistent and regionally adapted approach for quantifying regional AEBs.

Objective: To characterize contemporary surgeons' viewpoints and perspectives on the academic mission during healthcare corporatization.
Summary Background Data: Academic surgery, traditionally driven by the tripartite missions of excellence in clinical care, scientific research, and education, faces increasing challenges from a corporatized healthcare environment. While previous studies have addressed the financial aspects of corporatization, a comprehensive evaluation of academic surgeons' attitudes and experiences remains lacking.

Background: The neglect of visual identity (VI) at the organizational level within higher education institutions (HEIs) has become a critical issue, while previous studies over the past decade has focused on HEI branding and reputation. This creates a potential gap in understanding HEI branding processes. Thus, this study aims to explore the relationship between VI and HEI reputation by integrating the Expressiveness Quotient (EQ) and experiential brand meaning at the organizational level.

How do physical environment risks affect financial market systemic risk? We use remoting data to measure physical environment risks and select 26 banks across 12 EU countries. We extend the CoVaR framework with the quantile-mLSTM algorithm, obtaining time-varying CoVaRs. We then use time-varying partial derivatives to calculate the banks' tail risk spillover effects.

With the rapid decline in the levelized cost, offshore wind power offers a new option for the clean energy transition of the power sector in China's coastal areas. Here, we develop a power system capacity expansion and operation optimization model to simulate the penetration of offshore wind power in China and quantify the associated health effects. We find that offshore wind power has great potential in mitigating the negative impacts of existing coal-fired power emissions.

Integrating robots and artificial intelligence (AI) into workplaces is becoming increasingly prevalent across various sectors, including hospitality. This trend has raised concerns regarding employee anxiety and the potential for higher turnover intentions, particularly when AI technologies are perceived to undermine professional expertise. This study explores the relationship between awareness of robotics and AI and employee turnover intentions, framed within the Conservation of Resources Theory (COR).

Jealousy responses to potential mating rivals are stronger when those rivals display cues indicating higher mate quality. One such cue is vocal femininity in women's voices, with higher-pitched voices eliciting greater jealousy responses. However, cues to mate quality are not evaluated in isolation.

A qualitative analysis of the communication process of subway teams was performed from the perspective of cognitive psychology in this study. The findings revealed that the communication process exhibited characteristics consistent with a Markov process, and then a model was approved to calculate the probability of miscommunication based on Markov processes. As communication within subway teams is a two-way process, a model for the dynamic probability of miscommunication based on the Markov two-way communication mode was derived.

The provocative advice of health policymakers in endorsing private health insurance, as a critical tool for health reforms, is well-reckoned as a deterrent to mounting healthcare expenditure in the wake of the public health insurance quagmire. However, scholarly evidence has condemned the ineffectiveness of private health insurance in containing out-of-pocket expenditure. In this backdrop, we carried out a nuanced investigation of the coverage pattern of private health insurance policies.

Cities exhibit diverse urban metabolism patterns in terms of the natural environment, industrial composition, energy, and material consumption. A chronicled city-level quantification of emergy metabolic flows over time can significantly enhance the understanding of the temporal dynamics and urban metabolism patterns, which provides critical insights for the transitions to sustainability. However, there exists no city-level urban emergy metabolism dataset in China that can support detailed spatial-temporal analysis.

Accurately predicting carbon prices is crucial for effective government decision-making and maintenance the stable operation of carbon markets. However, the instability and nonlinearity of carbon prices, driven by the complex interaction between economic, environmental, and political factors, often result in inaccurate predictions. To confront this challenge, this paper proposed a carbon price prediction model that integrates dual decomposition integration and error correction.

In this work, the coprecipitation approach was successfully used to create Mg-Al hydrotalcite-like inhibitors modified with varying amounts of Zn, and their characteristics were assessed. The findings indicate that the flame retardancy of Mg-Al hydrotalcite (MgAl-LDHs) is not significantly affected by Zn content. By adding MgAl-LDHs, the temperature at which the exothermic reaction started to occur was raised from 146.
