Digestive properties and bioavailability of soy protein isolate and whey protein in canine and feline were evaluated using in vitro simulated digestion and cell absorption experiments. The amino acids and peptides in soybean protein isolate and whey protein after digestion were detected by high-performance liquid chromatography and liquid mass spectrometry. Developing a pragmatic pattern for timely learning crop growth information is significant in promoting high-quality agricultural production. Herein, an electrochemical sensing mode is designed for in-situ monitoring plant hormone (indole acetic acid as a typical example). To simplify the available electrochemical procedure with separate division of sensing interface decoration and liquid electrolyte addition, a bi-functional electrolyte, with superior quality of electron conduction and ion mass transfer, is built by exploiting the excellent conductivity of carbon-based nanostructures and the dynamic redox cycle between phenols and metal ions, endowed with the integration between conductive medium and semi-solid electrolyte.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of thermosonication (TS) on the phenolic accumulation of fresh-cut lotus roots (FCLs) in the context of the phenylpropanoid pathway and reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism. The potential regulatory effects of phenolic synthesis triggered by ROS signaling molecules during TS treatment were determined. Results showed that TS treatment significantly activated the activities of key enzymes associated with phenylpropanoid metabolism in FCLs, resulting in an increase in the total phenolic content (TPC), including gallic acid, epicatechin and rutin, consequently enhancing the antioxidant capacity.

This work involved the development of a supramolecular self-assembly originating from entropy- and enthalpy-driven dynamic covalent bonding on Schiff bases between egg white-derived peptide Gln-Ile-Gly-Leu-Phe (QIGLF) and glutaraldehyde (GA), denoted QIGLF-GA. A platform was developed to accurately detect the content of ofloxacin (OFX) based on molecularly imprinted polypyrrole-MWCNTs-OH/1,3,5-Tris(4-aminophenyl) benzene (TAPB)-2,5-dimethoxybenzene-1,4-dicarboxaldehyde (DMTP)-covalent organic framework (MIP-MWCNTs-OH/COF)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) sensor (MIP-MWCNTs-OH/COF/GCE). The complex of MWCNTs-OH and COF synergistically enhanced the active area and electrochemical signal, based on which a molecularly imprinted membrane was polymerized on its surface to further improve the selectivity. The effects of ethanol, 1,2-propanediol, and glycerol at concentrations from 10 % to 40 % on the thermal denaturation and aggregation of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) myosin were investigated. The results revealed that ethanol and 1,2-propanediol induced thermal denaturation of myosin more rapidly than glycerol, which minimally impacted the secondary structure. At 10 % concentration, 1,2-propanediol significantly influenced myosin's secondary structure more than ethanol.
