Aim: To determine the minimum dentin thickness in the mesial and distal walls of the mesiobuccal (MB) and mesiolingual (ML) canals of the mandibular first molars using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).

Materials And Methods: CBCT examinations of 624 mandibular first molars from an Indian subpopulation were analyzed. The mesial and distal minimum dentin thickness was evaluated in 1 mm intervals apical to the furcation area.

Objectives: The aim of the present systematic review was to evaluate if epoxy resin-based root canal sealers present superior push-out bond strength compared to calcium silicate-based root canal sealers.

Methods: The inclusion criteria consisted of in vitro studies that compared the push-out bond strength of epoxy resin-based and calcium silicate-based sealers. A systematic search was performed in the following databases for articles published until February 2018: PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science, and OpenGrey.

Objective: This study investigated the influence of different irrigants and the use of orange oil solvent in the removal of filling materials during root canal retreatment.

Methods: Forty maxillary premolars were shaped using the ProTaper System up to file F3 (size 30, 0.09 taper) and filled by Tagger's hybrid technique using the AH Plus.

The current study aimed to evaluate the bending resistance and the cyclic fatigue life of a new heat-treated reciprocating instrument (ProDesign R). Untreated ProDesign R, Reciproc R25, and WaveOne Primary instruments were used as reference instruments for comparison. The bending resistance was performed in ten instruments of each system by using a universal testing machine and a proper apparatus.

Introduction: This study was designed to quantitatively evaluate the amount of apically extruded debris by comparing the ProTaper Universal Retreatment system (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) with 2 reciprocating single-file systems (Reciproc [VDW, Munich, Germany] and WaveOne [Dentsply Maillefer]) during endodontic retreatment.

Methods: Forty-five mandibular premolars with a single canal were prepared with the ProTaper Universal system and then obturated. The specimens were divided into 3 groups (n = 15) according to the system used for filling removal: ProTaper Universal Retreatment system associated with the ProTaper Universal system (until file F4 40/0.
