However, their efficient application in biosensors remains a challenging issue due to the limited reaction site and amorphous structure. Herein, we encapsulated catalase inside MOF cavities to prepare an MOFzyme with many functional groups on its surface, and the functional groups were utilized for the subsequent integration of MOFzyme into the hyaluronic acid-DNA hydrogel.

Purpose: To evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) of stereolithography (SLA), digital light processing (DLP) manufactured, and computer numerical control (CNC) milled zirconia to veneering ceramic.

Materials And Methods: Rectangular shaped zirconia substrates (10 × 5 × 5 mm) were manufactured through SLA, DLP, and CNC technology separately. Their surface roughness was measured and the surface topography was analyzed by atomic force microscope (AFM).

Objective: This study aims to elucidate the primary signaling communication among papillary craniopharyngioma (PCP) tumor cells.

Methods: Five samples of PCP were utilized for single-cell RNA sequencing. The most relevant ligand and receptor interactions among different cells were calculated using the CellChat package in R software.

This study aimed to develop and validate a Pain Management Competency Scale for Nurses (PMCSN) and to assess the pain management competencies of nurses in China through a nationwide survey.

Roles of mobile teams in tracing lost to follow-up clients: evidence from the optimization of COVID-19 vaccination uptake and routine immunization in Ekiti State.

Background: Evidence from literature has established that tracing lost to follow-up clients is an effective strategy for complementing other mechanisms for infectious disease control like human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), tuberculosis, and other diseases such as Ebola. As a long-standing successful public health method of optimizing acceptance and/or adherence to infectious disease treatment tracing lost to follow-up clients is usually carried out by manually investigating individuals who absconded or are absent from treatments designed to manage and/or promote their health status. This study seeks to explore the role of mobile teams in tracing clients lost to follow-up for immunization.

Background: Patient safety incidents are recognized as significant contributors to patient mortality, thus demanding immediate attention and strategic interventions in healthcare systems. The room-of-error education program serves as a solution, as it provides a case-based learning platform allowing nursing students to identify and resolve medical errors within a controlled environment systematically. This study aimed to identify the context, mechanisms, and outcomes of room-of-error training programs.

Evaluating the impact, implementation experience and political economy of primary care networks in Kenya: protocol for a mixed methods study.

Background: Primary care networks (PCNs) are increasingly being adopted in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to improve the delivery of primary health care (PHC). Kenya has identified PCNs as a key reform to strengthen PHC delivery and has passed a law to guide its implementation. PCNs were piloted in two counties in Kenya in 2020 and implemented nationally in October 2023.

Methods: We performed a thorough literature search in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Chinese databases from databases initiatives to November 30, 2024.

Knowledge and attitudes about human papillomavirus infection and prevention methods among medical science students in Novi Sad, Serbia: a cross-sectional study.

Background: It is estimated that more than 80% of people are infected with human papilloma virus (HPV) at some point in their lives. Knowledge about HPV infection and methods of its prevention is important for society as a whole. Medical students as future healthcare workers must be thoroughly informed about HPV infection in order to properly participate in the promotion of its prevention.

Association between occupational exposure to gasoline and anemia: a retrospective cohort study in China.

Background: Anemia is a major global burden, and occupational gasoline exposure is a common occupational hazard factor. Although previous studies have shown that there is a potential relationship between occupational gasoline exposure and the increase of anemia prevalence, this relationship has not been fully explored. The current cohort study aimed to investigate the association between occupational exposure to gasoline and anemia, and the effect of gasoline concentration on hemoglobin (Hb) levels.

Background: The promotion of a healthy lifestyle among preschool children is essential for establishing their future habits. Evidence indicates that the incorporation of philosophical thinking-encompassing critical, creative, and compassionate thought-can significantly contribute to children's cognitive and moral growth, thereby positively affecting their health-related decisions. This research evaluated the effects of imparting healthy lifestyle practices through philosophical thinking to preschool children.

Evaluation of the impact of acidic medications and fluoride-containing mouthwash on the enamel surface using quantitative light-induced fluorescence, microhardness, and scanning electron microscopy: an in vitro study.

Background: Due to their acidic nature, certain medications can have deleterious effects on tooth enamel. Fluoride is a popular method for reversing these effects. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the impact of acidic medications, specifically anti-asthmatic drugs and vitamin C tablets, on enamel surfaces and to investigate the effects of fluoride following drug exposure.

Correlates of internalized stigma and antiretroviral therapy adherence among people living with HIV in the Volta region of Ghana.

Objective: HIV-related stigma is a major public health concern compromising the rights and health outcomes of many people living with HIV (PLWH). Its reduction is said to be critical in strengthening the continuous efforts targeted at preventing and controlling HIV, as it directly impacts antiretroviral treatment adherence. This study examines the association between HIV-related stigma and adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) among PLWH in one of the 16 administrative regions of Ghana, Africa.

Background: Due to medical advancements the number of children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions is rising, meaning more children and their families will require palliative and end-of-life care in the future. While 'home' is often the preferred place of end-of-life care, the evidence around best practice for decision-making about place of end-of-life care remains inadequate.

Aim: To synthesise evidence on the factors influencing decision-making regarding place of end-of-life care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Methods: This pragmatic trial was conducted on 126 adolescent boys with overweight.

Antenatal care and breastfeeding practices in Sub-Saharan Africa: an analysis of demographic and health surveys.

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends immediate breastfeeding (within the first hour after birth) and exclusive breastfeeding (for the first six months of life), particularly in low-resource settings such as sub-Saharan Africa. In 2016, WHO updated its antenatal care (ANC) guidelines, recommending at least eight (8+) ANC contacts during pregnancy to improve maternal and child health outcomes. This study investigates i) trends in breastfeeding practices across sub-Saharan Africa following the rollout of the revised WHO 2016 ANC policy and ii) the relationship between ANC uptake and exclusive or early breastfeeding.
