Replications are important for assessing the reliability of published findings. However, they are costly, and it is infeasible to replicate everything. Accurate, fast, lower-cost alternatives such as eliciting predictions could accelerate assessment for rapid policy implementation in a crisis and help guide a more efficient allocation of scarce replication resources.

Improving Oral Health in Prisons (PriOH): Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: People living in prisons often experience poor oral health, which could be attributed to their limited access to (dental) care, financial constraints, and a general lack of awareness and prioritization toward their oral hygiene. A pilot study involving motivational interviewing (MI) has shown promising results for improving the oral health outcomes of people living in prisons.

Even though much research has been conducted in this field, relatively few review studies assess how advancements in AI techniques can contribute to the sustainable advancement of MWM systems.

Circular Economy (CE) material efficiency strategies-such as material reuse, design for disassembly, prefabrication, and recycling-offer promising solutions for reducing resource consumption and waste. Cardiac Rehabilitation After Open Heart Surgery: A Narrative Systematic Review.

Background: Postoperative cardiac rehabilitation (CR) programs are increasingly recommended by clinicians, but only a minority of patients who have undergone open heart surgery participate in such programs. Participation rates in postoperative CR, if anything, appear to be declining. This systematic review examines the effectiveness of post-operative CR and reveals possible participation barriers.

The association between vigour and flexibility with injury and alertness during shift work.

Models of shift work and health suggest that individual differences in circadian rhythm characteristics may moderate the relationship between night shift work and injury, but this argument has not been directly tested. In this study, we tested the efficacy of two circadian rhythm characteristics-vigour and flexibility-as moderators of the path between shift work and injury. In addition, we aimed to replicate the association between vigour, flexibility, and alertness by time of day, and the measurement properties of the Circadian Type Inventory.

Health-related quality of life and its association with socioeconomic status and mental health in 5- to 7-year-old children: a cross-sectional study.

Purpose: Assessing socioeconomic status (SES), mental health, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in young children is crucial for making informed health care decisions and identifying areas of intervention. Despite the surge of interest in psychedelic research in the past decade, largely due to the promise of psychedelics for improving mental health outcomes, there has been comparatively little discussion about the social and environmental consequences of psychedelic drug use. While there is growing evidence to suggest psychedelics could foster a greater connection to the natural world and improve social relationships, such positive repercussions are far from guaranteed. In this commentary, we focus on LSD, psilocybin and especially MDMA, and outline three insights we came to see as crucial to creating beneficial outcomes: 1) the importance of setting and rituals, 2) the establishment of boundaries, and 3) understanding the long-term commitment required.

Without venturing into the wide range of governance paradigms, this research considers governance structures based on trust as a foundation for BC governance. A thematic systematic literature review is conducted to understand the literature on this topic, employing the SALSA (Search, Appraisal, Synthesis and Analysis) technique.

Share pledge and accounting conservatism in share-pledging firms: Evidence from a natural experiment in China.

This paper focuses on firms in which insiders pledge their shares as collateral for loans. By investigating a natural experiment-China's enactment of provisions on share reductions that restrict pledge creditors' cashing-out behavior-we find that pledging firms exhibited more conservative financial reporting after the implementation than non-pledging firms. This effect was pronounced in firms with a higher ratio of pledged shares, a longer maturation period of the pledged shares, and more concentrated pledge creditors.

Environmental, economic, and social sustainability in aquaculture: the aquaculture performance indicators.

Aquaculture is a rapidly growing food production technology, but there are significant concerns related to its environmental impact and adverse social effects. We examine aquaculture outcomes in a three pillars of sustainability framework by analyzing data collected using the Aquaculture Performance Indicators. Using this approach, comparable data has been collected for 57 aquaculture systems worldwide on 88 metrics that measure social, economic, or environmental outcomes.
