The purpose of this study is to evaluate the readiness of European inland transport companies for the European Green Deal by analyzing the causal relationships between key factors essential for EGD implementation. The research identifies six critical factors: Investment in Green Technologies, Policy Alignment and Compliance, Stakeholder Collaboration, Resource Management, Employee Training and Engagement, and Emission Reduction Initiatives. This research offers the first integrated evaluation of EGD readiness utilizing a combination of fuzzy-DEMATEL, multiple regression analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling aimed at uncovering systemic interactions among the factors in the system.

This paper investigates optimal ordering strategies in supply chains under two-level price fluctuations and initial profit allocation. By utilizing Copula functions to model the complex relationship between fluctuating prices and uncertain demand, the study develops both continuous and discrete decision models for practical applications. A discrete algorithm is proposed to approximate the optimal solution, with its convergence rigorously proven.

Considering the multifactorial and complex nature of Alzheimer's disease and the requirement of an optimum multifunctional anti-Alzheimer's agent, a series of triazole tethered coumarin-eugenol hybrid molecules was designed as potential multifunctional anti-Alzheimer's agents using donepezil and a template. The designed hybrid molecules were synthesized a click chemistry approach and preliminarily screened for cholinesterase and Aβ aggregation inhibition. Among them, AS15 emerged as a selective inhibitor of AChE (IC = 0.

In response to the impacts of climate change and the intensity of human activities in the alpine meadow region, there is an urgent need to determine the ecological quality and its drivers in alpine meadow areas. In this paper, Shangri-La was adopted as an example, the spatial and temporal evolution patterns of the ecological quality in Shangri-La were determined in both natural and social dimensions, and the contributions of various driving factors were analyzed. The conclusions are as follows: (1) the natural status index of Shangri-La from 2000 to 2020 generally showed a spatial distribution pattern that decreased from the central townships toward the north and south, and the social pressure index was irregularly distributed in high-value areas and continuously distributed in low-value areas.

Background: Protocols instituted for behavioral treatment and skills training programs for the management of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) suffer from lack of collaborative approaches. The tenets of interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) focus on preparing a panel of health care professionals (HCPs) from different professions who can work together to enable the common goal of ensuring that children with ASD can participate in society. This study was designed to pilot this approach through an IPCP training module on ASD for care providers from multiple professions.

Outlier detection is critical in statistical analysis and predictive modelling, but it is often overlooked in research, leading to potentially inaccurate conclusions. This study aimed to (1) assess the prevalence of outlier detection strategies in sport science publications, (2) examine the effect of outliers on statistical inference using general linear mixed-effects models with longitudinal data, and (3) evaluate the impact of outliers on regression predictive models using the same dataset. A systematic literature search of 4,622 articles published in 2023 in Q1 journals in "sport science" category found that only 9.

The Caribbean small island developing states have limited resources for comprehensive health care provision and are facing an increasing burden of noncommunicable diseases which is driven by an aging regional population. Artificial intelligence (AI) and other digital technologies offer promise for contributing to health care efficiencies, but themselves are dependent on the availability and accessibility of accurate health care data. A regional shortfall in data professionals continues to hamper legislative recognition and promotion of increased data production in Caribbean countries.

Background: In interfacility transport care, a critical challenge exists in accurately matching ambulance response levels to patients' needs, often hindered by limited access to essential patient data at the time of transport requests. Existing systems cannot integrate patient data from sending hospitals' electronic health records (EHRs) into the transfer request process, primarily due to privacy concerns, interoperability challenges, and the sensitive nature of EHR data. We introduce a distributed digital health platform, Interfacility Transport Care (ITC)-InfoChain, designed to solve this problem without compromising EHR security or data privacy.

Shared values play an important role in attracting new tourists, retaining existing ones and gaining an important competitive advantage. Building upon the Commitment-Trust model, this study tested the role of shared ecological values in the creation of tourist trust and relationship commitment, and finally tourist behavioral intention. To test the hypotheses, a sample consisting of 480 mountaineering tourists of two representative travel agencies were surveyed, and a mixed-method approach based on a quantitative survey (n = 436) and qualitative interviews (n = 60) was also adopted to examine their relationships.
