Purpose: Biliary tract cancers (BTCs) are usually diagnosed in advanced stages, where treatment options are either palliative chemotherapy and/or best supportive care. The breakthrough results of the TOPAZ-1 trial demonstrated a 24% decrease in risk of death at 2 years with the addition of durvalumab to chemotherapy.
Materials And Methods: This was a multicenter retrospective cohort study conducted across 14 institutions in India.

Introduction: Total knee arthroplasty is the commonest procedure being done for Osteoarthritis of knee in current practice. In spite of its success many patients suffer from post-operative pain especially in the early post-operative period. The study aimed to evaluate the pain relief and functional benefit of periarticular cocktail infiltration.

Introduction: Extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB) accounts for 16 % of tuberculosis cases globally, with knee joint tuberculosis more prevalent in underdeveloped nations. Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is commonly used to treat tubercular arthritis of knee, however, there is a marked paucity of research on the outcomes after an incidental diagnosis. The aim of the study is to investigate the outcomes of total knee arthroplasty after an incidental diagnosis of tuberculosis and its management.

Materials And Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed of paediatric RIRS cases at nine centres worldwide over a 6-year period. Patients were divided into two groups: Group 1 had a single stone <15 mm.

Background Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting is a common and unpleasant treatment-related side effect reported by cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Akynzeo® or NEPA (NEtupitant + PAlonosetron) is the first fixed combination of netupitant and palonosetron that targets both critical pathways involved in emesis while providing a convenient, single oral dose therapy. The current study aimed to assess the effectiveness and safety of NEPA in a real-world setting in India.

Purpose Of Review: Postprandial hyperglycemia, or elevated blood glucose after meals, is associated with the development and progression of various diabetes-related complications. Prandial insulins are designed to replicate the natural insulin release after meals and are highly effective in managing post-meal glucose spikes. Currently, different types of prandial insulins are available such as human regular insulin, rapid-acting analogs, ultra-rapid-acting analogs, and inhaled insulins.

Background: Intra-articular and periarticular distal femur fractures with pre-existing osteoporosis (OP) and osteoarthritis (OA) pose a significant challenge to ambulatory patients because of the higher chances of implant failure and severe disability of OA. To reduce OA-related morbidity, we advocate simultaneous total knee arthroplasty (TKA) with fracture fixation instead of fracture fixation alone using computer-assisted navigation to achieve proper ligament balance, restoration of the mechanical axis, and component alignment.
Case Report: A case series of four patients (male - 2 and females - 2) with periarticular fractures of the distal femur with severe OA and OP were primarily fixed with different modalities such as distal femur locking plates, cannulated-cancellous screw, and Herbert screw followed by computer navigation-assisted cruciate retaining TKA.

Objective: To evaluate outcomes after laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate (EEP) stratified by whether early apical release (EAR) was performed or not.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients with clinical benign prostatic hyperplasia who underwent EEP with holmium or thulium fiber laser in 8 centers (January 2020-January 2022).
Exclusion Criteria: previous prostate/urethral surgery, prostate cancer, pelvic radiotherapy, concomitant lower urinary tract surgery.

The International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) 128 is an internationally endorsed, electronically readable labeling standard that provides a convenient and accurate means of identification, traceability, publication, and storage of information for blood and blood products. The authors' center recently registered with the International Council for Commonality in Blood Banking Automation (ICCBBA) and progressed to ISBT 128 labeling standard. This manuscript was written with the objective of sharing the authors' experience with respect to the implementation of ISBT 128 standards for whole blood donations and integration of ISBT 128 standards with Indian licensing regulations.

Purpose: Patients with varus knee osteoarthritis usually compensate at the ankle and typically walk with hindfoot valgus alignment. As the neutral weight-bearing axis of the lower limbs is restored with Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA), ankle and hindfoot biomechanics also acutely change. This study aims to investigate whether any ankle clinical-radiographical changes occur as a result of bilateral mechanical TKA in patients with bilateral Osteoarthritis knee at a minimum follow-up of 6 months.

We aim to evaluate the incidence of incontinence following laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate (EEP) comparing en-bloc (Group 1) versus 2-lobe/3-lobe techniques (Group 2). We performed a retrospective review of patients undergoing EEP for benign prostatic enlargement in 12 centers between January 2020 and January 2022. Data were presented as median and interquartile range (IQR).

Introduction: Conventionally, the fattened beam is being used in radiotherapy for routine clinical cases even after introduction of intensity-modulated radiotherapy with incorporation of multi-leaf collimator system. With the removal of the flattening filter (FF) from the beam's path average energy of the photon gets reduced resulting in reduced scatter, reduction in treatment time, and reduced neutron contamination for high-energy beam and ultimately resulting in treatment plan quality deviations. This study aims to investigate the usefulness of the FF-free (FFF) beam for routine head-and-neck cancer (HNC) cases treated with volumetric arc therapy (VMAT) and dosimetrically compares the result with the FF beam.

Background: Different lasers have been developed for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, with no definitively superior technique identified to date.
Objective: To compare surgical and functional enucleation outcomes in real-world multicentre practice using high-power holmium laser (HP-HoLEP) and thulium fiber laser enucleation of the prostate (ThuFLEP) for different prostate sizes.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The study included 4216 patients who underwent HP-HoLEP or ThuFLEP at eight centers in seven countries between 2020 and 2022.

Purpose: To evaluate outcomes of flexible ureteroscopy for renal stones by comparing hard versus soft stones based on their attenuation on computed tomography (Hounsfield Units-HU).
Methods: Patients were divided into two groups according to the type of laser employed [Holmium:YAG (HL) or Thulium fiber laser (TFL)]. Residual fragments (RF) were defined as > 2 mm.

To compare the outcomes of using low-power (up to 30 W) high-power (up to 120 W) holmium lasers in retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) in children and to analyze if lasering techniques and the use of access sheath have any influence on the outcomes. We retrospectively reviewed data from 9 centers of children who underwent RIRS with holmium laser for the treatment of kidney stones between January 2015 and December 2020. Patients were divided into two groups: high-power and low-power holmium laser.

Objective: The SABINA (SABA use IN Asthma) program was initiated to describe short-acting β2-agonists (SABA) prescription patterns and assess the impact of its over-prescription on exacerbation risk and asthma control. We evaluated SABA prescription patterns in patients with asthma in the Indian cohort of SABINA III.
Methods: This multi-centre, observational, cross-sectional study included retrospective and real-time electronic data collection.
