Purpose: We sought to evaluate outcomes for clinical management after a genetic diagnosis from the Deciphering Developmental Disorders study.

Methods: Individuals in the Deciphering Developmental Disorders study who had a pathogenic/likely pathogenic genotype in the DECIPHER database were selected for inclusion ( = 5010). Clinical notes from regional clinical genetics services notes were reviewed to assess predefined clinical outcomes relating to interventions, prenatal choices, and information provision.

Investigating the association of VHL gene variants with disease risk and clinicopathological outcomes in ccRCC patients from West Bengal, India.

Background: Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is a prevalent and aggressive malignancy, with the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) gene playing a critical role in its pathogenesis. However, the association between VHL gene variants and sporadic ccRCC risk remains unexplored in the Indian population. This study aimed to investigate the somatic and germline variants of the VHL gene in sporadic ccRCC patients from West Bengal, India, and their association with disease risk and clinicopathological parameters.

Evaluation of Vulvar Disorders by Vulvoscopy Index and N-S-P Scheme Using Three Rings Vulvoscopy (TRIV).

Background And Objective: TRIV is a new and promising technique based on the fact that Vulva can be divided into three circular zones based on anatomy, embryology, and histology- Outer, Middle, and Inner ring. The Vulvoscopy Index and N-S-P scheme are objective tools to improve the systematization of vulvoscopy findings and to simplify information management using TRIV.

Methods: Hundred women with vulvar complaints (Cases) and 100 asymptomatic women (Controls) underwent TRIV and findings were documented as per N-S-P Scheme and Vulvoscopy Index.

Living kidney donation and living liver donation significantly increases organ supply to make lifesaving transplants possible, offering survival benefits to the recipients and cost savings to society. Of all living donors, 40% are women of childbearing age. However, limited data exist regarding the effect of donation on future pregnancies and of pregnancy-related complications on postdonation outcomes.

The cross-sectional study analyzed a weighted sample of 20,032 women and used a multivariable logistic regression analysis to determine the association between predictor variables and outcome variables.

Background: More than 60% of cancer survivors report unmet physical, psychosocial, and informational needs. The care of cancer survivors includes surveillance, health maintenance monitoring, referral for long-term adverse effects of cancer treatment, and coordination of care. Group medical visits (GMV) include medical care, education, and peer support and can be used to facilitate the delivery of multidisciplinary survivorship care.

Purpose: To synthesise evidence for the incidence of intensive care unit (ICU) admission, characteristics and mortality of pregnant and postpartum women with a focus on differences between high-income countries (HICs) and low-middle-income countries (LMICs) and report changes in reported findings since the last review by Pollock et al. (2010).

Methods: We searched Ovid Medline, EMBASE, and CINAHL (2010-2023), following best practice guidelines for abstract screening for large-evidence systematic reviews.

Invasive Treatment Strategy for Older Patients with Myocardial Infarction.

Background: Whether a conservative strategy of medical therapy alone or a strategy of medical therapy plus invasive treatment is more beneficial in older adults with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) remains unclear.

Methods: We conducted a prospective, multicenter, randomized trial involving patients 75 years of age or older with NSTEMI at 48 sites in the United Kingdom. The patients were assigned in a 1:1 ratio to a conservative strategy of the best available medical therapy or an invasive strategy of coronary angiography and revascularization plus the best available medical therapy.
