Background: Coronary artery ectasia (CAE) is an entity frequently associated with atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD) in clinical practice. Although it has common risk factors with atherosclerotic CAD in its development, the pathophysiology of CAE is not fully known and it is not seen in every CAD suggesting that different determinants may play a pivotal role in the development of CAD. This study aimed to reveal the impact of C-peptide and diabetes mellitus (DM) on CAE and the effect of C-peptide and coronary ectasia on long-term outcomes in patients who underwent coronary angiography.

Objective: It has been understood that COVID-19, which has become a global pandemic in a short time, is a disease affecting multiple organs and systems. Some of the organs and systems affected by the disease also play a role in the pathophysiology of erectile dysfunction (ED), which led us to consider the possible effects of the disease on the erectile function. In this study, we aimed to evaluate changes in the erectile functions of patients with COVID-19 among those that had previously diagnosed with mild and moderate ED in our urology outpatient clinic.

Methods: Records of neonates treated with PD between January 2019 and January 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.

Introduction And Importance: We aimed to report a case of acute mesenteric ischemia in a newborn with COVID-19.

Case Presentation: A 1-day-old male baby, with a birth weight of 2050 g, delivered by spontaneous vaginal delivery at 34 weeks of gestation from a 32-year-old COVID-19 infected mother in her third pregnancy, was taken to the newborn intensive care unit. On physical examination, the patient was alive and active.

Rare cecum pathologies as a cause of acute abdomen in children.

Background: We aimed to present cecum pathologies which are the cause of acute abdomen.

Methods: Between January 2015 and June 2019, patients that were operated with the diagnosis of acute abdomen and patients with the primary cecum pathologies were evaluated retrospectively.

Results: There were eight patients, five males and three females.
