In order to investigate the presence and distribution of these parasitic nematodes in birds acting as the definitive host, 157 birds of 64 bird species belonging to 16 orders were collected and necropsied in the Kızılırmak Delta area in the Bafra district of Samsun province. Methods: Pre-treatment panoramic radiographs and patient records of 121 consecutive patients with IMCs were analyzed. Removal of cetirizine dihydrochloride from different matrices waters using BiO/TiO photocatalyst under simulated solar irradiation: Kinetics, mechanism, and effect of environmental media.

In this study, the photodegradation of cetirizine dihydrochloride (CET) by BiO/TiO heterojunctions under simulated solar light irradiation (300-800nm) was examined in detail for the first time. A hydrothermal synthesis of the photocatalyst was carried out, and several analytical techniques were used to characterize the product. The resulting BiO/TiO photocatalyst effectively removed CET from an aqueous solution.

The influence of road vehicle tyre wear on microplastics in a high-traffic university for sustainable transportation.

Road-associated microplastics, originating from tire wear and fragmented litter, are significant contributors to microplastic pollution. This study examines the characteristics of these particles within a university, focusing on their size, shape, color, and polymer composition. Suspended microplastics were collected using portable active samplers for PM and results have shown that PM concentrations peaked on Thursdays and declined, reaching their lowest levels on Sundays, with overall weekend measurements indicating reduced concentrations compared to weekdays.

Highly selective and reusable nanoadsorbent based on FeO-embedded sodium alginate-based hydrogel for cationic dye adsorption: Adsorption interpretation using multiscale modeling.

This study aims to develop a stable and efficient magnetic nanocomposite hydrogel (MNCH) for selective removal of methylene blue (MB) and crystal violet (CV). MNCHs with different FeO contents (0-9 wt%) were synthesized following graft co-polymerization method using sodium alginate, acrylamide, itaconic acid, ammonium persulfate and N,N-methylene bisacrylamide. Among them, MNCH, with 5 wt% FeO, showed highest removal efficiency (>95 %).

Risk factors for neurologic sequelae in children and adolescents with hemophilia after intracranial hemorrhage.

Our study included 186 hysterectomy cases (62 vNOTES hysterectomy, 62 VH, and 62 TLH) with benign indications diagnosed between 2021 and 2022. Our study is a retrospective and single-center study.
