We present the genome sequences of two carbapenemase-producing sequence type 405 Escherichia coli clinical isolates, strains Marseille-Q1950 and Marseille-Q1951. The isolates were obtained 1 month apart during the patient's hospitalization in Lebanon, in May (Marseille-Q1950) and June (Marseille-Q1951) 2019. The genome sizes of strains Marseille-Q1950 and Marseille-Q1951 were 5,181,515 bp and 5,213,451 bp, respectively.

Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy in Patients Who Have Had Multiple Miscarriages: A Review of Current Literature.

Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is an obstetrical complication that affects about 3% of reproductive age couples. Depression and anxiety in patients from Lebanon with new onset functional seizures.

Objectives: To prospectively compare the frequencies of depression and anxiety in patients with new onset functional seizures versus two age and gender-matched control groups consisting of patients with new onset epileptic seizures and normal individuals.

Methods: Consecutive patients, 16 years and older, enrolled in a prospective study for suspected new onset epileptic seizures and diagnosed with documented functional seizures were included. We compared the depression and state and trait anxiety scores using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) between patients with functional seizures and the other two control groups.

Worldwide, there is a growing concern about the negative effects of infectious medical waste produced during the COVID-19 pandemic and the contamination risks associated with waste management. Therefore, measures to ensure that medical waste is managed safely and in an environmentally sound manner will avoid negative health and environmental effects from such waste, thus protecting the health of patients, health workers and the public in general. Despite that infectious medical waste generation rate is important for management planning and policy development, there is a limitation on national data availability and its accuracy, particularly in developing economies.

A Conservative Approach to Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor of the Bladder: A Case Report and Review of Literature.
