Aims: To enhance the therapeutic potential of Cabozantinib (CBZ), a tyrosine kinase inhibitor with limited water solubility, low bioavailability, and high toxicity, by developing a Cabozantinib-Phospholipid Complex (CBZ-PLS).
Materials & Methods: CBZ-PLS was formulated using solvent evaporation with a Box-Behnken design and characterized using various techniques to confirm molecular interactions. Solubility, in vitro release, pharmacokinetics, and toxicity were evaluated.

The receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) is a multi-ligand receptor with several structural types, performing a myriad of molecular mechanisms. The RAGE-ligand interactions play important roles in maintaining latent chronic inflammation, and oxidative damage underlying various pathological conditions like metabolic syndrome (MetS), neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, cardiovascular disorders, pulmonary disorders, cancer and infections. RAGE is thoroughly explored in knockout animals and human trials, targeted by small molecule inhibitors, peptides, diet, and natural compounds.

The efficacy of dasatinib (DAS) in treating hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is hindered by its poor bioavailability, limiting its clinical potential. In this study, we explored the use of TPGS-Soluplus micelles as an innovative drug delivery platform to enhance DAS solubility, stability, and therapeutic impact. A series of TPGS-Soluplus copolymers were synthesized, varying the D-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (TPGS) forms (1000, 2000, and 3500) and adjusting the TPGS to Soluplus weight ratios (1:1, 1:2, and 1:3).

This study investigates the use of pH-responsive nanogels for delivering Bosutinib (BOSU) in colon cancer treatment. Nanogels were formulated using three polymers: hyaluronic acid (HA), carboxymethyl dextran (CMD), and gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA). These nanogels achieved high drug entrapment efficiencies (80-90%) through polymer mixing with BOSU, followed by EDC/NHS cross-linking and sonication.

This study aimed to develop paclitaxel (PTX)-loaded PEGylated (PEG)-pH-sensitive (SpH) liposomes to enhance drug delivery efficiency and cytotoxicity against MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Biliary tract cancers (BTCs) are aggressive malignancies with a dismal prognosis that require intensive targeted therapy. Approximately 10 % of BTCs have PBRM1 mutations, which impede DNA damage repair pathways and make cancer cells more susceptible to DNA-damaging chemicals. A notable breakthrough in the treatment of colon cancer involves the utilisation of a cutting-edge drug delivery technology known as biosurfactant-derived nanomicelles. These nanomicelles, composed of natural biosurfactant molecules, possess the distinct capability to enclose pharmaceuticals or genetic material, such as DNA, siRNA, or mRNA, within spherical formations. With a size ranging from 10 to 100 nanometers, these nanomicelles exhibit precision targeting capabilities towards colon cancer cells, hence minimising the occurrence of side effects typically associated with treatment.
