Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is commonly used to follow the progression of neurodegenerative conditions, including multiple sclerosis (MS). MRI is limited by a lack of correlation between imaging results and clinical presentations, referred to as the clinico-radiological paradox. Animal models are commonly used to mimic the progression of human neurodegeneration and as a tool to help resolve the paradox.

To analyze brain connectivity dynamics during listening to music and estimate the potential impact on task performance. Fifteen participants (13 males and 2 females) participated in this study based on their interest in Indian classical music. Measurements of the influence of Indian music on task performance were obtained by assessing brain activation using EEG signals.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) provides a non-invasive method for studying, diagnosing, and monitoring disease progression. As an emerging research area, many studies have attempted to connect MR metrics to underlying pathophysiological presentations of heterogenous neurodegeneration.

The metal-lightweighted electrocatalysts for water splitting are highly desired for sustainable and economic hydrogen energy deployments, but challengeable. In this work, a low-content Ni-functionalized approach triggers the high capability of black phosphorene (BP) with hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction (HER/OER) bifunctionality. Through a facile in situ electro-exfoliation route, the ionized Ni sites are covalently functionalized in BP nanosheets with electron redistribution and controllable metal contents.

In this report, we have presented the theoretical and experimental investigation of 2-Methylimdazolium 4-Nitrobenzoic Acid (2MI4NB) - an organic crystal. The good quality 2MI4NB single crystal was grown by slow evaporation technique. Both single and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that the grown crystal structure is Triclinic with the P1 space group.

In theoretical chemistry, topological indices are commonly employed to model the physico-chemical properties of chemical compounds. Mathematicians frequently use Zagreb indices to calculate a chemical compound's strain energy, melting point, boiling temperature, distortion, and stability. The current global pandemic caused by the new SARS-CoV-2, also known as COVID-19, is a significant public health concern.

In this study, we report the synthesis of photoluminescent (PL) nitrogen (N) and sulfur (S) co-doped carbon dots (NS-CDs) from nitazoxanide and 3-mercaptopropionic acid as a precursors via a one-pot hydrothermal methods. N and S co-doped materials allows more active sites in the CDs surface resulting in an enhancement of their PL properties. NS-CDs show bright blue PL, excellent optical properties, good water solubility, and a high quantum yield (QY) of 32.

The two-step thermal polymerization and solvothermal approach is used to construct nano heterostructures of FCN and BiOI (bismuth oxeye iodide), both of which are Nobel metal-free materials. This work reports the effect nano-heterostructure on the micro-structural, light absorption capability, PEC properties and pollutant degradation efficiency of the synthesised heterostructures. The addition to that formation of FCN/BiOI nano-heterostructure enhances the solar light absorption.

The design and development of eco-friendly fabrication of cost-effective electrochemical nonenzymatic biosensors with enhanced sensitivity and selectivity are one of the emerging area in nanomaterial and analytical chemistry. In this aspect, we developed a facile fabrication of tertiary nanocomposite material based on cobalt and polymelamine/nitrogen-doped graphitic porous carbon nanohybrid composite (Co-PM-NDGPC/SPE) for the application as a nonenzymatic electrochemical sensor to quantify glucose in human blood samples. Co-PM-NDGPC/SPE nanocomposite electrode fabrication was achieved using a single-step electrodeposition method under cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique under 1 M NHCl solution at 20 constitutive CV cycles (sweep rate 20 mV/s).
