There is a growing need for research on Parkinson's disease (PD), a neurological condition that often affects the elderly. By examining brain network connectivity, researchers are able to discover how different brain regions interact during various cognitive and behavioral tasks. They can also understand how changes in nonlinear connections may be linked to neurological and mental illnesses.

Transferring of data in machine learning from one party to another party is one of the issues that has been in existence since the development of technology. Health care data collection using machine learning techniques can lead to privacy issues which cause disturbances among the parties and reduces the possibility to work with either of the parties. Since centralized way of information transfer between two parties can be limited and risky as they are connected using machine learning, this factor motivated us to use the decentralized way where there is no connection but model transfer between both parties will be in process through a federated way.

The short peptides, containing the amino acid sequence asparagine-glycine-arginine (NGR) and arginine-glycine-aspartic acid (RGD), possess the strong binding ability to N (APN/CD13) aminopeptidase receptor and integrin proteins involved in antitumor properties are overexpressed. A novel short N-terminal modified hexapeptides P1 and P2 was designed and synthesized using the Fmoc-chemistry solid phase peptide synthesis protocol. Notably, the cytotoxicity of the MTT assay demonstrated the viability of normal and cancer cells up to lower peptide concentrations.

In this research, the thermodynamic (energy and exergy) and economic assessments of heat pump-assisted solar still with paraffin wax was investigated under the climatic conditions of Coimbatore city in India during the year 2020. The observed experimental results in heat pump solar still (HPSS) was compared with conventional solar still (CSS) in the same climatic conditions. This model works on the principle of latent heat observed during condensation which was regenerated by heat pump to preheat the inlet basin saline water of solar still.

Background: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) plays an important role in the field of medical diagnostic imaging as it poses non-invasive acquisition and high soft-tissue contrast. However, a huge time is needed for the MRI scanning process that results in motion artifacts, degrades image quality, misinterprets the data, and may cause discomfort to the patient. Thus, the main goal of MRI research is to accelerate data acquisition processing without affecting the quality of the image.

Two (tetrahydrodibenzo[,]phenanthridin-5-yl)phenols that differ in their substituents at the para position (, R = H and , R = NEt) were designed and synthesized. The presence of a -NEt group in probe facilitates the twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) process, making emissive, which distinctly coordinated with boron trifluoride in the presence of different amines with different electronic properties. A substantial increase in emission intensity with increasing viscosity of the surrounding environment and smooth formation of a planar complex with boron and Zn ions concluded the presence of a TICT process.

Chitin is a naturally occurring fully N-acylated biopolymer which cannot be converted into nanomaterial easily due to its inherent rigidity and chemical inertness. These properties limit the utility of chitin in nanomaterial-based applications. Therefore, our aim in the present work was, to prepare chitin like fully N-acylated derivatives with a hydrophobic moiety and study the impact on nanoparticles synthesis.

The introduction of a hydrophobic moiety on chitosan enhances the self-assembling properties, mucoadhesion, the permeability of the macromolecule and aids in target specific delivery. Our group synthesized a hydrophobic trans N-(6,6-Dimethyl-2-hepten-4-ynyl)chitosan derivative (CSD) and studied the surface modification of ZnS nanoparticles in a single pot reaction. X-ray diffraction studies and FESEM imaging confirms the nano size and morphology of the surface modified Zinc sulfide nanoparticles (ZnS-CSD NPs).

Surface modified ZnO nanomaterial is widely used in the field of bioimaging worldwide due to its optical properties, electronic characteristics and biocompatibility. Fluorescent enhanced, Polyquaternium-7(PQ7) capped, ZnO hexagonal nano disks (ZnO-PQ7) were synthesised by simple wet chemical method. The structural and optical properties of ZnO-PQ7 hexagonal nano disks were characterized using XRD, UV-Visible, Fluorescence, HRTEM, EDAX and FTIR studies.
