Background: In recent times, bioceramic calcium silicates have gained attention due to high success rates with pulpotomy in primary teeth.
Aims: To evaluate and compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes of three different bioceramic calcium silicate cements in vital deciduous teeth treated with pulpotomies over a period of 24 months.
Design: Children aged 4-9 years, with deep dentinal caries (ICDAS 4-6) in primary molars, having no history of spontaneous pain or signs of non-vitality were included in the study.

Diagnosing palatal swellings is crucial for various reasons, mainly because these swellings can signal a range of health problems, from benign conditions to more serious diseases. Here, we have reported an interesting case of long-standing palatal swelling. Accurate diagnosis typically involves a combination of clinical examination, patient history, imaging studies, and possibly biopsy or other laboratory tests.

Introduction: Dental crowding can be defined as a disparity in the relationship between the tooth size and arch length, which results in imbrication and rotation of teeth. Crowding of permanent teeth, especially in the anterior part of the mandible, is believed to be the most frequent form of malocclusion in children. The appropriate age for treatment of crowding is the late mixed dentition period.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of various remineralizing agents in stopping the early enamel lesions surrounding orthodontic brackets from progressing.
Techniques: Four groups were randomly allocated to a total of 100 participants: the control group (no treatment), calcium phosphate, casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP), and fluoride varnish. Remineralizing chemicals were administered in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, and enamel lesions were created around orthodontic brackets.

Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is a highly effective topical fluoride for halting dental caries; however, it darkens both teeth and restorations. Therefore, it is of interest to assess the shear bond strength (SBS) of glass ionomer cement (GIC) to caries-affected dentin treated with SDF alone and SDF followed by KI. Forty primary molar samples were prepared to reveal a flat dentin surface and were randomly assigned to two groups.

Effective pain management is crucial for the successful performance of various endodontic procedures. Painless treatments are made possible by anesthetizing the tooth to be treated using various nerve-block techniques. However, certain circumstances necessitate supplemental anesthetic techniques to achieve profound anesthesia, especially in situations involving a "hot tooth" in which intrapulpal anesthesia (IPA) is employed.

Introduction Non-metric dental traits (NMDTs) are a fundamental data source in forensic dentistry. Nevertheless, the insufficiency of data regarding the occurrence of these traits has instigated the present research endeavor aimed at ascertaining the prevalence, sexual dimorphism, and extent of inter-trait correlations within the Maharashtrian population of India. The secondary objective was to determine the correlations between NMDTs, dentoskeletal malocclusion, and ABO blood groups.

Aim: To evaluate and compare the sorption and solubility of two different core buildup materials in different pH media for periods of one day, one week, and one month.
Materials And Method: Sixty samples were prepared and divided into Group A (30 resin-based samples) and Group B (30 glass ionomer cement (GIC)-based samples). The sorption and solubility of the different materials were calculated by weighing the samples before and after desiccation and media immersion for periods of one day, one week, and one month.

Introduction: The esthetic during the various orthodontic treatments has led to the invention of the brackets. When different ceramic brackets and archwires are used, the different frictional forces may result in the different outputs. Hence, in the present study, we evaluated and compared the frictional resistance between eight standard monocrystalline ceramic bracket models and each of the archwires of four different alloys.

Background Removing gutta-percha manually can be a challenging task, especially when addressing densely packed root-filling material, particularly in cases where resin-based sealers are employed for obturation. The use of nickel-titanium (NiTi) rotary instruments not only effectively shapes the root canal but also efficiently removes the endodontic filling from the curved canal during retreatment. Hence, incorporating rotary NiTi instruments in retreatment cases can alleviate fatigue for both patients and operators.
