Introduction: To assess and compare the knowledge of ChatGPT and Google Gemini in answering public-based and scientific questions about peripheral artery disease (PAD).

Methods: Frequently asked questions (FAQs) about PAD were generated by evaluating posts on social media, and the latest edition of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guideline was evaluated and recommendations about PAD were translated into questions. All questions were prepared in English and were asked to ChatGPT 4 and Google Gemini (formerly Google Bard) applications.

Diagnosis, treatment, surgical practices and review of the literature in rare coagulation factor deficiencies.

Background: Rare bleeding disorders (RBDs) include fibrinogen (Factor I), prothrombin (Factor II), Factor V(FV), combined Factor V and Factor VIII, Factor VII, Factor X, Factor XI, Factor XII, and Factor XIII deficiencies. This group accounts for 3-5% of all factor deficiencies. Different symptoms may occur, ranging from mild or moderate bleeding to serious and life-threatening bleeding, which may not be related to the factor level.

Assesment of functional gastrointestinal diseases in obese children.

Unlabelled: Functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGID) are disorders of gut-brain interactions characterized by chronic recurrent gastrointestinal symptoms and are reported to be more common in obese individuals. The aim of the study was to evaluate FGID in obese children. A total of 405 children (6-18 years) were enrolled in this cross sectional study.

Factors affecting lower extremity venous insufficiency recurrence following radiofrequency ablation.

Objective: To clarify possible factors for recurrence of venous insufficiency following radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for the treatment of lower extremity chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).

Methods: Patients with lower extremity CVI who underwent RFA therapy were reviewed for inclusion in the study. Patients' characteristics, operative parameters and follow-up outcomes were recorded.

Relationship between disease activity index and sleep disorders in children with inflammatory bowel diseases.

The aim of the study was to assess the prevalence of sleep disturbance in pediatric IBD patients and evaluate the relationship between clinical features of IBD, disease activity, inflammatory markers and quality of sleep. A total of 99 patients who were followed-up with the diagnosis of IBD (44 Crohn's disease (CD), 55 Ulcerative colitis (UC)) between 2015-2020 and 80 healthy controls were enrolled in the study. The clinical and demographic characteristics, laboratory parameters and disease activities were obtained from medical reports retrospectively.

Comparison of Radiofrequency Ablation and Saphenous Vein Stripping for the Treatment of Recurrent Lower Extremity Venous Insufficiency.

Objective: To compare the efficiency and safety of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and saphenous vein stripping (SVS) for the treatment of recurrent lower extremity chronic superficial venous insufficiency (CSVI).

Methods: Patients who underwent SVS and RFA for recurrent lower extremity CSVI following RFA and patients who had 2-year follow-up results were enrolled into the study. Total, 37 patients who underwent a second RFA session with 2-year follow-up results were available.

Clinical and histopathological prognostic factors affecting the renal outcomes in childhood ANCA-associated vasculitis.

Objective: Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitides (AAV) are very rare in childhood with an increased risk of morbidity and mortality.
