The rate of oocytes with granular cytoplasm is higher in women with endometrioma in ICSI cycles.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of endometrioma on oocyte morphology and fertility outcome in intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)cycles. The study material was obtained from 114 ICSI cycles of infertile women aged between 20 and 38 years with ovarian endometriomas and unexplained infertility. In total, 644 mature oocytes were included in the analysis.
