The prevalence of autism is constantly increasing, but timely diagnosis allows for effective treatment. The aim of our research was to construct a Russian version of the RAADS-14, a brief self-report questionnaire originally designed for autism screening, and to perform its initial validation to provide a reference point in developing autism self-assessment tools for the Russian-speaking population.

Dissecting the role of cadmium, lead, arsenic, and mercury in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.

The objective of the present study was to review the existing epidemiological and laboratory findings supporting the role of toxic metal exposure in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The existing epidemiological studies demonstrate that cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), arsenic (As), and mercury (Hg) exposure was associated both with an increased risk of NAFLD and altered biochemical markers of liver injury. Laboratory studies demonstrated that metal exposure induces hepatic lipid accumulation resulting from activation of lipogenesis and inhibition of fatty acid β-oxidation due to up-regulation of sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (SREBP-1), carbohydrate response element binding protein (ChREBP), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ), and down-regulation of PPARα.

[The analysis of potential issues of sociological research of dementia problems].

The article analyzes possibilities in sociological research of dementia and social problems it generates. In conditions of increase of unfavorable tendencies related to dementia, occurs decreasing of social status of patients and their relatives tending them, increasing of their socioeconomic maladjustment, deterioration of social and psychological well-being, stigmatization and even social isolation of individuals affected by the problem (including people working with patients with dementia). The dementia results in changes of social identity of patient and one's relatives, image, quality and standard of living.

Assessment of Ecological and Toxicological State of Soils and Waters in the Neighborhood of Mining Industry Enterprises in the Armenian Highlands.

The article presents the results of the seven-year study on the state of arable lands and wastewaters in the districts of mining enterprises in Armenia. An assessment of the ecological and toxicological state of wastewaters and contaminated areas was carried out. Methods for their purification are proposed aimed at their further use and obtainment of environmentally safe agricultural products.

Biodiversity of Phototrophs and Culturable Fungi in Gobustan Caves.

Unique natural objects, such as the caves of the Gobustan National Historical and Artistic Preserve, are also of great cultural and historical value due to rock art and sites of ancient people. A favorable microclimate makes these habitats convenient for colonization by microbiota, including phototrophs. In arid regions with intense seasonal fluctuations of microclimatic parameters, the conditions for survival are the least favorable; therefore, it becomes especially important to determine the composition of communities that are the most adapted to specific conditions.

The article presents the results of research of public opinion during the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia. The study touches on the attitude of citizens to public health, as well as the reaction of social media users to government measures in a crisis situation during a pandemic. Special attention is paid to the phenomenon of infodemic and methods of detecting cases of the spread of false and unverified information about diseases.

Biodigestion System Made of Polyethylene and Polystyrene Insulator for Dog Farm (on the Example of the Republic of Chile).

Anaerobic digestion is a system that can have a high environmental impact through the use of different wastes to obtain biogas and its consequent use for the generation of renewable energy. The objective of this study was to implement a polyethylene biodigester, using polystyrene for thermal insulation in a dog kennel, using canine feces collected in the same place during a period of 5 months to obtain biogas and energy. The results indicated that biogas production started on day 30 and stopped during the winter period with low temperatures; therefore, from day 54 onwards, equine manure was added to continue producing biogas.

The purpose of study was to determine attitude of the youth of the Russian Federation to physical culture and sports. The sociological research methodology was applied using both focused on-line interviews with representatives of the Russian youth as well as secondary analysis of statistical and sociological data sources of information related to the study.The study established main trends and prospects in developing physical culture and sports primarily in regions of Russia.

The paper presents the results of a study on the analysis of the perception of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by Spanish-, German- and Russian-speaking social media actors after the emergence of vaccines and attitudes toward vaccination. The empirical base of the study was corpus data, materials from online media, social networks, microblogging, blogs, instant messengers, forums, reviews, and video hosting data. The Spanish-language database included 6,640,912 tokens and 43,251,900 characters; the German-language database included 16,322,042 tokens and 109,139,405 characters; and the Russian-language database included 16,310,307 tokens and 109,060,935 characters.

The purpose of the study is to systematize theoretical models of demographic family policy approved in publications included into database SCOPUS in 2019-2020 and developed using empirical data obtained by analysis of methods and practices of increasing natality in certain countries of EU, BRICS and the New World. The France, Sweden, Great Britain, Norway and Denmark are oriented to expand measures of social support of citizen and regulation of occupation of women with children with purpose to increase natality. The article presents the results of psychological study of characteristics of food behavior in young people in the conditions of forced self-isolation and COVID-19 coronavirus infection pandemic. The common research methods were applied to establish actual food disorders and intensification of their symptoms during isolation. The food behavior of each individual can be considered as network of interactions between various natural factors (physiological, psychological, economic, sociocultural ones).
