Preclinical studies demonstrate that a broad spectrum of human and animal malignant cells can be killed by oncolytic paramyxoviruses, which includes cells of ecto-, endo- and mesodermal origin. In clinical trials, significant reduction or even complete elimination of primary tumors and established metastases has been reported. Different routes of virus administration (intratumoral, intravenous, intradermal, intraperito-neal, or intrapleural) and single- vs.

Background: The autogenic training (AT) is one of the most widely used methods for psychotherapy of patients suffering from chronic somatic diseases (CSD). A number of studies have demonstrated the improvement of the psychological status in the patients under the influence of autogenic training. However, up to the present time, both the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effectiveness and the predictors of the AT effectiveness have remained to be poorly studied which hampers the development of differentiated indications for the application of this technique.

Aim:  The objective of the present research was to study the influence of tap water enriched with silver nanoparticles (NP) as well as that of «Krasnoarmeysky» and «Essentuki №17» mineral waters after their single administration through the oral gavage to the rats on the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, the biochemical markers of the liver condition, and the endocrine profile in the healthy animals.

Material And Methods:  The laboratory animals (130 male Wistar rats) were allocated to thirteen groups comprised of 10 rats each as follows: 1st group (n=10) intact animals, 2nd group (5 minutes after the administration of silver NP (n=10), 3rd group (15 minutes after the of silver NP), 4th group (60 minutes after the administration of silver NP), 5th group (n=10) (5 minutes after the introduction of the «Krasnoarmeysky» mineral water), 6th group (n=10) (15 min after the introduction of the «Krasnoarmeysky» mineral water), 7th group (n=10), (60 minutes after the introduction of the «Krasnoarmeysky» mineral water) 8th group (n=10) (5 minutes after the introduction of the «Essentuki № 17» mineral water), 9th group (n=10) (15 min after the introduction of the «Essentuki № 7» mineral water) , 10th group (n=10) (60 minutes after the introduction of the «Essentuki №17» mineral water), 11th group (n=10) (5 minutes after administration of tap water (control),12th group (n=10) (15 minutes after administration of tap water (control), and 13th (n=10) group 60 minutes after administration of tap water (control).

Results:  The study has demonstrated that the tap water enriched with silver nanoparticles similar to the mineral waters caused stress reactions that are inferior to those induced by «Essentuki №17» mineral water in terms of the magnitude; however, the effect provoked by the tap water was of longer duration.

Objective: The relevance of the problem considered in the present communication arises to-day from the widespread prevalence of osteoporosis (OP), the rather low effectiveness of the methods currently available for the treatment of this condition, and iatrogenic effects of its medication therapy. The great diversity of phytotherapeutic modalities of traditional medicine are is only poorly supported by the results of the scientific studies results; moreover, most of them are coming from the foreign literature publications.

Aim:  The objective of the present study was to evaluate the influence of the phytotherapeutic preparation (Phytocost) having cyclodextrin in its composition on the restoration of the cartilaginous and bony tissues based on the experimental research with the use of the OP experimental model.

One of the most widely employed methods of laser therapy is laser irradiation of blood (LIB). There are two modifications of this technique, one being intravenous low-intensity laser irradiation of blood (ILIB), the other non-invasive blood irradiation(NLIB). The two methods have been developing independently since either has its advantages and disadvantages.

The experiments on male white rats with the use of biochemical, photo-optical, and electron-microscopic techniques have demonstrated that the use of low-intensity electromagnetic radiation of ultrahigh frequency (EMR UHF) and low-intensity low-frequency magnetic field (MF) during the post-irradiation period (within 21 days after exposure to radiation) enhanced the metabolic and regenerative processes in the testes and liver. It was shown that the application of MF largely intensified the antioxidant activity whereas EMR UHF preferentially stimulated the biosynthetic processes as well as the processes of cellular and intracellular regeneration.

Unlabelled: This article was designed to present evidence of the advantages of the personified approach to the treatment of the patients presenting with arterial hypertension (AH), lumbar spinal dorsopathy (LSD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and duodenal ulcer (DU) at the stage of exacerbation obtained by the measurements of testing voltage at the reference point (Utest).

Aim: The objective of the present study was to develop the algorithm for the determination of the sufficient number (optimal duration) of therapeutic procedures of the protracted treatment with the use of the Utest at the reference point.

The Patients And Methods: The study included 647 patients (439 women and 208 men at the age varying from 25 to 72 years) with grade I-II AH, DU at the stage of exacerbation, grades II and III lumbar spinal dorsopathy, grade II-III COPD.

This article deals with the issues related to the role of climatic therapy in the combined spa and health resort-based treatment of the patients presenting with pathology of the respiratory system. The characteristics of climatic health resorts, the effects of various weather factors on the patients with nonspecific diseases of the respiratory organs, and the methods of climatic therapy are discussed with special reference to the physical factors influencing acclimatization and re-acclimatization as well as the prevention of meteopathic reactions. Much attention is given to the indications and contraindications for the referral of the patients with the above health problems to the local spa and health resorts facilities.

Unlabelled: The objective of the present work was to study the influence of the application of the biological feedback (BFB) technique on the dynamics of the psychological and clinical status of the patients presenting with various chronic somatic diseases (CSD) and to identify the predictors of the effectiveness of the treatment by this method.

Patients And Methods: The study included 337 patients suffering from CSD who were interviewed with the use of the concise standardized multifactorial personality inventory (SMPI), the Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and the Beck depression inventory (BDI) scales. The patients were randomly distributed into two groups.

The present review concerns the problem of the influence of the climatic conditions on the human body, the creation of the medical weather forecast service, the development of non-pharmacological methods for the correction of meteopathic disorders, and the reduction of the risk of the complications provoked by the unfavourable weather conditions. The literature data are used to analyse the influence of climatic and weather factors on the formation of enhanced meteosensitivity and the development of exacerbations of chronic non-communicable diseases under the influence of weather conditions. It is concluded that marked changes of the weather may lead to an increased frequency of exacerbations of the chronic non-communicable diseases.
