Methods: We reviewed prospectively collected data from the UK National Ligament Registry for patients who underwent primary ACLR between January 2013 and December 2022. Patients were categorized into five groups: isolated ACLR, ACLR with medial meniscus (MM) repair, ACLR with MM resection, ACLR with lateral meniscus (LM) repair, and ACLR with LM resection.

Anonymised data were submitted on demographics, surgical history, PrEP regimen, and results of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) and HIV screening tests.

Background: Anaesthetic training has always had patient safety as part of the curriculum. However, there is limited emphasis on what happens when things do not go to plan. The primary outcome was the 12 month change in the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) for patients referred for bothersome LUTS, or urinary catheter independence for patients treated for AUR.

Articulating spacers, which allow joint mobility, often yield better outcomes than static ones.

Desmopressin for prevention of bleeding for thrombocytopenic, critically ill patients undergoing invasive procedures: A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled feasibility trial.

Thrombocytopenic patients have an increased risk of bleeding when undergoing invasive procedures. In a multicentre, phase II, blinded, randomised, controlled feasibility trial, critically ill patients with platelet count 100 × 10/L or less were randomised 1:1 to intravenous desmopressin (0.3 µg/kg) or placebo before an invasive procedure.

Granular cell tumour of the breast.

Granular cell tumours (GCT) of the breast have similar clinical and radiological features to breast carcinomas. We present a case of a female patient with a tender, palpable lump, and associated skin changes. Imaging of the lesion was suspicious of malignancy.

Maintenance of response to ketogenic diet therapy for drug-resistant epilepsy post diet discontinuation: A multi-centre case note review.

Purpose: There is limited research on the proportion of individuals with epilepsy who maintain response to ketogenic diet therapy (KDT) after discontinuing treatment. We aimed to determine the proportion of individuals who did / did not maintain response post KDT and explore factors that may influence the likelihood of maintaining response.

Methods: Retrospective data were collected from 97 individuals from 9 KDT centres.
