Verrucous carcinoma is a well-differentiated form of squamous cell carcinoma. This tumor has been shown to mimic a variety of other skin lesions with its insidious onset and apparently benign course. Early detection and a thorough histologic examination of this growth aid in proper diagnosis, treatment, and reduction in morbidity.
