This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of autofluorescence-guided surgery compared to standard surgical methods in identifying tumor-free margins and ensuring complete excision. A prospective cohort of 80 patients was randomized into two groups: the control group underwent excision with a 10 mm margin based on clinical judgment, while the experimental group used autofluorescence guidance with a 5 mm margin beyond fluorescence visualization loss.

: The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of acidic beverages on the mechanical properties of various dental resin-based materials. : A total number of 160 samples were prepared using four types of resin-based materials-Group A ( = 40): flowable composite, Group B ( = 40): heavy-flow composite, Group C ( = 40): resin-based sealant and Group D ( = 40): nano-hybrid composite. Then, the samples were distributed into four subgroups according to the submersion solution: ( = 10): artificial saliva, ( = 10): coffee, ( = 10): cola and ( = 10): red wine.

Objectives: The main objectives were to investigate the prevalence of ED and associated risk factors among medical students in Romania, as well as to determine which variables may predict ED and to explore the differences between medical students and the general population.

Methods: The Eating Disorders Inventory questionnaire (EDI-3) was applied. Also, the body mass index of the students was calculated, socio-demographic information regarding personal and family medical history was collected (mental and chronic diseases, self-reported sleep difficulties in the past 6 months, family history of obesity) and potentially risky events (history of ridicule, major negative events, social pressure to be thin from family, friends, media).

Background: Chronic inflammation is associated with different cancers, and is identified as a key pathogenic mechanism in ovarian cancer. The purpose of our study was to evaluate systemic inflammation markers, as predictive and prognostic factors, in ovarian cancer patients with initial surgical treatment.

Subjects And Methods: We performed a retrospective study on 60 ovarian cancer patients with primary cytoreduction surgery, between 2010-2018, with a follow-up period of at least one year.
