Background: Management of dorsal dead space and the aesthetics of a supratip break are paramount to achieving reproducible and reliable results in rhinoplasty.
Objectives: The authors present a modified technique of redraping the nasal soft tissue envelope in structural rhinoplasty by utilizing the nasal superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) to help obliterate dorsal dead space and restore normal anatomy, thereby enhancing midvault and supratip contouring.
Methods: A standard open rhinoplasty approach is utilized.

Cephalic trimming of the lower lateral cartilage (LLC) can result in the collapse of the internal and external nasal valves, pinched nose, and alar retraction. The cephalic lateral crural advancement flap (CLCAF) technique is introduced as a method to prevent these complications by avoiding grafts in the LLC. A retrospective study was conducted on 126 open-approach rhinoplasties (82 female and 44 male) employing the CLCAF technique between January 2021 and March 2022.

Introduction: The large mixture of races in Brazil gives the nose its distinctive composition, which makes rhinoplasty difficult for these patients. Every patient should have their anatomy thoroughly examined on an individual basis, as there is no unique strategy that works for all situations.
Methodology: This is a narrative overview of the last 10 years' worth of literature that describes the ethnic traits of each nose, with a particular emphasis on the Brazilian nose, and talks about the major surgical approaches that can be applied in these situations.

Introduction: Non-surgical rhinoplasty has evolved with the introduction of volumizing threads, which offer a less invasive alternative to traditional methods by enhancing nasal contours while minimizing filler use. This technique is gaining popularity, particularly in Southeast Asia, due to its shorter recovery time, reduced risk profile, and ability to prevent the 'Avatar nose' effect. However, there is limited anatomical guidance available for its application, especially in the Asian population.

Background: Construction of the nasal tip strut is an important part of rhinoplasty; the incidence of postoperative complications is closely related to the type of graft and the approach to cartilaginous framework construction.
Objectives: To introduce a supplementary graft to support the cartilaginous framework.
Methods: Forty patients (37 female and 3 male), aged from 18 to 40 years (average 29), received a rhinoplasty using a spacer graft.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are a relatively safe and effective means of cosmetic treatment for the face; however, as the numbers of both patients and injectors continue to rise, reports of adverse events (AEs) and ischemia are increasing. Although visual complications and stroke are the most-feared AEs, skin and underlying tissue necrosis is far more common and can be catastrophic. HA can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, but this does not always resolve ischemia.

Background: Supratip deformity is one of the most common complications after open rhinoplasty. This study aimed to define a new risk scoring system for supratip deformity and determine the distances that should be left between the tip defining point (TDP) and anterior septal angle (ASA) to prevent it.
Methods: Four hundred sixty-nine patients who underwent open rhinoplasty between 2018-2022 were included in this retrospective study.

Background: Although facial feminizing rhinoplasty can reduce gender dysphoria, there is limited evidence on approaches to maximize transgender patient satisfaction. In a retrospective cohort of transfeminine patients who underwent feminizing rhinoplasty, we compare pre- and postoperative nasal metrics and postoperative satisfaction.
Methods: Records were retrospectively reviewed to identify transfeminine patients who had feminizing rhinoplasty and cisgender females who had aesthetic rhinoplasty at least 8 weeks post-rhinoplasty.

A normal alar-columellar relationship is crucial for lower third finesse in rhinoplasty. Hanging columella is a common complaint in the alar-columellar relationship and membranous septum excision is frequently recommended for its correction. This paper focuses on the role of the membranous septum in achieving a normal alar-columellar relationship.

As the demand for nasal reshaping continues to rise, it is essential to develop safe and efficient injection techniques and assess satisfaction to ensure optimal outcomes and patient-centered care.
Objective: This study aims to evaluate patient and physician satisfaction with hyaluronic acid filler applications using microinjection technique for nasal reshaping.
