Methods: This study demonstrated the therapeutic effects of HDAC6 genetic ablation, pharmacological inhibition, and HDAC6-deficient bone marrow transplantation in a diabetes model induced by streptozotocin and a high-fat diet.

Background: International guidelines suggest screening for advanced fibrosis due to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease in people with type 2 diabetes, but how to implement these guidelines in clinical care remains unclear.
