Objective: Hyperdense artery sign (HAS) on noncontrast brain computed tomography (CT) indicates an acute thrombus within the cerebral artery. It is a valuable imaging biomarker for diagnosing large-vessel occlusion; however, its identification may be challenging with the presence of vascular calcification.
