Objective: To compare live-birth rates between letrozole application and artificial cycle for endometrium preparation during frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycle among women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
Methods: A randomized controlled trial was conducted. Women with PCOS were randomized to letrozole application for ovulation induction compared with artificial cycle for endometrial preparation during FET.

To evaluate the influence of antiretroviral prophylaxis on the growth and development of HIV-exposed uninfected infants in Guangzhou. Data were from the national information system for prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV infection, syphilis and hepatitis B. After excluding death and perinatal HIV infection cases, 564 HIV-exposed uninfected infants were included.

Objective: To explore the effects of different M II stage oocytes zona pellucida birefringence on pregnancy outcome.
Methods: A total of 46 couples with infertile which induced by single cause received in-vitro fertilization treatment were analyzed retrospectively, and randomly divided into the high zona birefringence (HZB)/HZB group, HZB/low zona birefringence (LZB) group and LZB/LZB group according to different oocytes zona pellucida birefringence. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection outcome was analyzed and compared.

Recurrent miscarriage is often unexplained. In our study, we test the hypothesis that unexplained recurrent miscarriage is associated with premature ovarian ageing by comparing the basal follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level between women with recurrent miscarriage and a control group of subjects in two different ethnic centres: one in Guangzhou, China and the other in Sheffield, UK. The subjects were stratified into three different age groups, and all of them were under the age of 40 years.
