Calcifications in the soft tissues can be accidental findings during diagnostic procedures. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) forms the major percentage of oral malignancies; calcifications are rare findings in OSCC. Calcifications are seen as a result of necrosis, chronic inflammations as well as degenerative changes and imbalances of the local calcium and phosphorous environment.

The number of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) cases is increasing in India. This study looks upon the geographic distribution of the virus clades and variants circulating in different parts of India between January and August 2020. The NPS/OPS from representative positive cases from different states and union territories in India were collected every month through the VRDLs in the country and analyzed using next-generation sequencing.

Manipur, a North Eastern state in India, is one such marginalized area.
Aim: The study aimed to evaluate Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) towards oral health in 15-18 year adolescents residing in Manipur together with the association of these variables to sociodemographic factors.

Small intestine ischaemia caused by volvulus is difficult to diagnose during pregnancy, as the signs and symptoms may be masked by pregnancy. An early diagnosis and a prompt surgical intervention is necessary, as morbidity and mortality of this disorder are significant. We are presenting a case of a 35-year-old pregnant woman with volvulus of small bowel.
