The detection timely of the predictive factors of mortality and bad outcomes improve the triage of those patients.
Aim: To define the predictive factors of mortality at 30 days among patients admitted on ED for covid-19 pneumonia.

Fifty-four carbapenem non-susceptible Klebsiella pneumoniae (CNSKP) isolates were collected from a Tunisian hospital over a period of 13 consecutive months. Carbapenemase production and the prevalence of carbapenemase-encoding genes were investigated using combined-disk test (CDT), modified Carba NP (mCarba NP) test, and UV-spectrophotometry method complemented by PCR experiments and sequencing. Carbapenemase production was detected by the mCarba NP test and CDT in 92.

Background And Objective: Accurate mass segmentation in mammographic images is a critical requirement for computer-aided diagnosis systems since it allows accurate feature extraction and thus improves classification precision.
Methods: In this paper, a novel automatic breast mass segmentation approach is presented. This approach consists of mainly three stages: contour initialization applied to a given region of interest; construction of fuzzy contours and estimation of fuzzy membership maps of different classes in the considered image; integration of these maps in the Chan-Vese model to get a fuzzy-energy based model that is used for final delineation of mass.
