This article discusses the preparation of different grades of single-ion conducting quasi-solid polymer electrolytes (q-SPE) material (Chit-g-SPA-IL) based on biopolymer (chitosan), polyacrylic acid and DBU-acetate (DBUH AcO) ionic liquid. Chit-SPA-60 %-IL exhibited the highest conductivity within the range of 10 S/cm. TGA analysis demonstrated the stability of electrolytes up to a temperature of 120 °C.

The study included four groups; a normal control (NC) group without immune suppression; an experimental model control (MC) with immune suppression induced via intraperitoneal cyclophosphamide (Cy) administration; and two MC groups orally administered with either low dose (LD) or high dose (HD) of LFN400 at dose 10 and 10 CFU/mouse/day, respectively, for 15-days. A new bidentate Schiff base ligand (CHClN), condensation product of ethylene diamine and 4-chloro N-phenyl formamide, and its metal complexes [M(CHClN)(OAc)] (where M = Mn(II) and Zn(II)) were synthesized and characterized using various analytical and spectral techniques, including high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), elemental analysis, ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, AAS, molar conductance, H NMR, and powder XRD. All the compounds were non-electrolytes and nanocrystalline. The synthesized compounds were assessed for antioxidant potential by DPPH radical scavenging and FRAP assay, with BHT serving as the positive control.

This study aimed to evaluate the biosafety of Limosilactobacillus fermentum NCDC 400, a potential probiotic strain, using oral toxicity tests in a Swiss albino mouse model.
