Metastatic pheochromocytoma: An unusual case and its multidisciplinary management.

We describe the case of an 80-year-old man with sporadic right pheochromocytoma who developed metastatic disease six years after initial diagnosis. Despite adequate blood pressure control and initial biochemical cure criteria after surgery, elevated chromogranin A levels were detected during routine screening, which anticipated elevated 24-h urine metanephrines. Subsequent imaging tests revealed metastatic lesions in the lungs, liver, prostate and lymph nodes.

Background: We evaluated outcomes in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who presented with brain-only metastatic (BOM) disease overall and by EGFR/ALK mutation status.

In this study, molecular alterations in endometrial carcinoma (EC) recurrences were analyzed. We aimed to identify genes implicated in tumor progression and to evaluate whether histologic and molecular type shifting occurs in recurrences. Thus, we analyzed 50 samples corresponding to 24 primary ECs (15 low-grade endometrioid endometrial carcinomas [LG-EECs] and 9 high-grade endometrial carcinomas) and their corresponding 26 recurrences.

Datopotamab Deruxtecan Versus Chemotherapy in Previously Treated Inoperable/Metastatic Hormone Receptor-Positive Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2-Negative Breast Cancer: Primary Results From TROPION-Breast01.

Purpose: The global, phase 3, open-label, randomized TROPION-Breast01 study assessed the trophoblast cell surface antigen 2-directed antibody-drug conjugate datopotamab deruxtecan (Dato-DXd) versus investigator's choice of chemotherapy (ICC) in hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HR+/HER2-) breast cancer.

Methods: Adult patients with inoperable/metastatic HR+/HER2‒ breast cancer, who had disease progression on endocrine therapy, for whom endocrine therapy was unsuitable, and had received one to two previous lines of chemotherapy in the inoperable/metastatic setting, were randomly assigned 1:1 to Dato-DXd (6 mg/kg once every 3 weeks) or ICC (eribulin/vinorelbine/capecitabine/gemcitabine). Dual primary end points were progression-free survival (PFS) by blinded independent central review (BICR) and overall survival (OS).

Endometrial cancer (EC) stands out as the most prevalent gynecological malignancy in Europe and the second most diagnosed worldwide, yet its cellular complexity remains poorly understood. In this review, we explore the contributions of scRNA-seq studies to shed light on the tumor cells and cellular landscape of EC.

Septal Perforation Quality of Life questionnaire (SEPEQOL): validation of a new instrument to assess patients undergoing endoscopic repair of a nasal septal perforation.
