Aim: Preschool is the time when deleterious oral habits, caries pattern, and risk factor are established and is the time to intervene and establish healthy trends which can have a lifelong influence. Individuals living in various socioeconomic conditions have an assortment of hazard factors that impact oral well-being. This work was conducted to study the prevalence of dental caries, body mass index (BMI), and socioeconomic status (SES) among preschoolers in private preschools and Anganwadi centers within Bengaluru.

Bilateral condylar fractures are common but are frequently undertreated. In most of the cases, only one side is surgically addressed and the other side is managed conservatively. Bilateral condylar fractures lead to loss of ramal height bilaterally, accentuated anterior open bite, disruption of articular surfaces, and disc and muscle attachments.

Aim & Objectives: Clinical trials had concluded a significant relationship between implant failure and bruxism. A three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis (FEA) was done to evaluate the stress distribution in straight and angled abutments around titanium and carbon fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone (CFR-PEEK) implant with 2 different prosthetic crowns under parafunctional loading.
Materials And Method: Twelve 3D models of bone block were created representing the maxillary right premolar area with osseointegrated implants.

Objective: To assess the five-year long-term quality of life of patients who were treated with Disclusion Time Reduction Therapy (DTR).
Methods: Thirty occluso-muscular disorder patients responded to two questionnaires about their symptom intensities, frequencies, and pain levels that were given to the patients before DTR therapy and five years after. Both surveys were subjected to the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to compare differences in the reported intensities, frequencies, and pain levels.

Context: The diagnosis and grading of epithelial dysplasia is based on a combination of architectural and cytological changes. A gradual increase in quantitative DNA aberrations has been found to correlate with increasing degree of dysplasia in oral mucous membranes.
Aims: The aim of this study is to assess nuclear parameters in potentially malignant and malignant lesions of the oral cavity and to assess cytomorphometric changes in the nucleus and nucleolus in oral epithelial dysplasia (OED), oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF), oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and normal oral mucosa using methyl green-pyronin staining to determine its suitability for detecting potentially malignant lesions and the stage of carcinogenesis.

The majority of maxillary defects can be rehabilitated with pedicled flaps. However, when there are very large resections of the maxilla and flap success is questionable, then the defect may be obturated with a conventional hollow bulb clasp retained obturator or implant retained obturator prosthesis. However, inadequate retention, stability and support may be associated with the use of a conventional obturator and in case of recurrence the success of implant is questionable.

Background Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the sixth most common cancer worldwide accounting for 90% of all malignant oral lesions with high mortality and a five-year survival rate of about 50%. Various studies have shown mast cells regulate carcinogenesis by immunosuppression, angiogenesis enhancement, and promotion of tumor cell mitosis. Aim Hence, the present study was aimed to compare mast cell counts in normal oral mucosa with histological grades of oral squamous cell carcinoma by using toluidine blue stain.

Aim And Objectives: The study evaluated the stress distribution in an endodontically treated tooth with four different post systems and restored with two different prosthetic crown materials using finite element analysis (FEA).
Material And Methods: A total of eight 3D FEA models of maxillary central incisor were created and divided into two groups; group porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crown (n = 4) and group PEEK crown (n = 4). The endodontically treated tooth was restored using four different post materials such as fiber-reinforced composite (FRC), carbon fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone (CFR-PEEK), glass fiber reinforced polyetheretherketone (GFR-PEEK) and polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) and composite resin core.

Introduction: The retromandibular transparotid approach is most useful for condylar and subcondylar fractures and provides the best access to the joint and ascending ramus. The study aims at evaluating the ease of access and outcomes encountered on using the retromandibular transparotid approach to access the fracture site for the open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of condylar and sub-condylar fractures.
Materials And Methods: An observational clinical study was carried out among 10 patients with unilateral and bilateral condylar fracture requiring ORIF.

To investigate the effect of full-mouth rehabilitation on the levels of and in plaque samples of children suffering from severe early childhood caries using the quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction method.
A dental examination was performed to determine the decayed, missing, and filled primary teeth and surfaces (dmft and dmfs, respectively) in three- to five-year-old children using the World Health Organization's caries diagnostic criteria. Supragingival plaque samples were collected from all tooth surfaces with a sterile universal scaler at baseline and six months after full-mouth rehabilitation.

Odontogenic myxoma is a benign, rare neoplasm of mesenchymal origin comprising of 3%-6% of all odontogenic tumors. Odontogenic myxoma occurs more commonly in the second and third decade and is more commonly seen in mandible compared with maxilla but behaves more aggressively in maxilla as it spreads through the maxillary antrum. It is usually associated with a painless swelling without any symptoms.
