While antibody-based approaches have drawbacks like high costs and prolonged activity, the approval of monoclonal antibodies such as pembrolizumab and nivolumab has paved the way for a range of alternative therapies, including peptides, peptidomimetics, and small-molecule inhibitors.

Effect of pomegranate juice on vascular adhesion factors: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and insulin resistance demonstrate elements of functional impairment of the endothelium. Treatment of endothelial dysfunction with natural products, such as pomegranate, can open new ways in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Purpose: The present meta-analysis provides information in highlighting the role of pomegranate in endothelial dysfunction.

Aim Of The Study: Clinical trials have shown contradictory effects of cinnamon supplementation on metabolic parameters of polycystic PCOS patients.

Effects of genistein on blood pressure: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Genistein (4',5,7-trihydroxyisoflavone) is a phytoestrogen with potential health benefits in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. However, the evidence regarding its effects on hypertension has not been conclusive. Therefore, we examined the impact of oral genistein supplementation on systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) via a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Effects of resveratrol supplementation on bone biomarkers: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

The current study presents a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on resveratrol and bone health biomarkers. PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science (until September 2018) were searched to identify the potential RCTs with information on resveratrol supplementation and bone metabolism biomarkers. Mean differences (MD) were analyzed using a random-effects model.

The study was designed to investigate the in vitro dissolution profile and compression characteristics of colon targeted matrix tablets prepared with HPMC E15 LV in combination with pectin and Chitosan. The matrix tablets were subjected to two dissolution models in various simulated fluids such as pH 1.2, 6, 6.

Formulation of unidirectional release buccal patches of carbamazepine and study of permeation through porcine buccal mucosa.

Objective: To achieve transbuccal release of carbamazepine by loading in unidirectional release mucoadhesive buccal patches.

Methods: Buccal patches of carbamazepine with unidirectional drug release were prepared using hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and ethyl cellulose by solvent casting method. Water impermeable backing layer (Pidilite® Biaxially-oriented polypropylene film) of patches provided unidirectional drug release.

Objective: The opinion about pharmacy services was studied using an instrument which measured satisfaction with pharmacy services. The main focus of the instrument was to assess patients' opinion and expectation of the present pharmacy services.

Method: The instrument contained 20 items, which were grouped based on their similarity into eight dimensions, namely, General satisfaction, Interpersonal Skill, Evaluation, Gathering non-medical information, Trust, Helping Patients, Explanation, and Finance.
