Pneumatic impactor is widely used in the drilling process of various medium and high hard rocks with poor drill ability. Currently, there is relatively little analysis on the impact of the inclination of the rock surface during the drilling process on the drilling efficiency and excavation capability of pneumatic impactors. Based on the dynamic theory of impact drilling and finite element method (FEM), the constitutive model of HJC criterion and INVENTOR 3D mechanical structure design software, a 3D numerical analysis system of piston-bit head-rock during pneumatic impactor drilling is established by ANSYS LS-DYNA, a nonlinear dynamic analysis software.

Hypergraph neural networks have gained widespread attention due to their effectiveness in handling graph-structured data with complex relationships and multi-dimensional interactions. However, existing hypergraph neural network models mainly rely on planar message-passing mechanisms, which have limitations: (i) low efficiency in encoding long-distance information; (ii) underutilization of high-order neighborhood features, aggregating information only on the edges of the original graph. This paper proposes an innovative hierarchical hypergraph neural network (HCHG) to address these issues.

The current industrial wireless sensor network (IWSN) cluster routing methods suffer from energy inefficiency. Designing efficient cluster-based routing protocols is crucial for improving network performance and energy efficiency. Therefore, this paper first designs a new clustering model to achieve efficient cluster head (CH) selection and data transmission performance by comprehensively considering multiple key factors such as CH energy, base station (BS) distance, packet loss rate, and data delay.

Background: Hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) is a sensitive indicator of oxygen homeostasis, of which the expression elevates following hypoxia/ischemia. This study reveals the specific mechanisms underlying the effects of HIF-1α on ischemic stroke (IS).
Methods: IS model was established using middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO)-modeled male rats and oxygen glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R)-treated mice hippocampal cells HT22, followed by the silencing of HIF-1α and the overexpression of C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB).

Tesla valves are widely used in the field of fluid control. To study the hydraulic performance of straight-through Tesla valves in forward and reverse flow, 16 straight-through Tesla valves with diverse blade parameters were designed in this paper, and hydraulic loss tests were carried out in forward and reverse flow under different working conditions. The results show that the hydraulic loss increases with the increasing working flow rate in forward and reverse flow; at the identical flow rate, the reverse loss is higher than the forward loss.

Objective: Biological studies have elucidated that phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (PHGDH) is the rate-limiting enzyme in the serine synthesis pathway in humans that is abnormally expressed in numerous cancers. Inhibition of the PHGDH activity is thought to be an attractive approach for novel anti-cancer therapy. The development of structurally diverse novel PHGDH inhibitors with high efficiency and low toxicity is a promising drug discovery strategy.

Molecular oxygen activation often suffers from high energy consumption and low efficiency. Developing eco-friendly and effective photocatalysts remains a key challenge for advancing green molecular oxygen activation. Herein, graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) with abundant hydroxyl groups (HCN) was synthesized to investigate the relationship between these polar groups and molecular oxygen activation.

Chronic inflammation (inflammaging) is one of the important reasons for the development of age-related diseases and aging. Carrying out aging research and mining inflammatory markers can develop antiaging intervention targets, thus promoting healthy aging. By comparing the levels of inflammatory proteome in the serum of Chinese long-living people over 90 years and elderly aged 60∼79 which was detected by Olink platform, this study found that some pro-inflammatory or pro-aging proteins increased significantly in the long-living people, such as c-x-c motif chemokine ligand 9, accompanied by a significant increase in the levels of several anti-inflammatory or antiaging proteins, including fibroblast growth factor 19 and fibroblast growth factor 23, which confirmed that compared with elderly people, pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory (pro-aging and antiaging) tend to be balanced in long-living people, thus reducing the risk of age-related diseases and prolonging the lifespan of the elderly.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of Internet of Things (IoT), Zigbee networks have emerged as a critical component for enabling wireless communication in a variety of applications. Despite their widespread adoption, Zigbee networks face significant security challenges, particularly in key management and network resilience against cyber attacks like distributed denial of service (DDoS). Traditional key rotation strategies often fall short in dynamically adapting to the ever-changing network conditions, leading to vulnerabilities in network security and efficiency.

Super-capacitors (SCs), as new energy conversion storage elements, have attracted much attention, but there is still a research gap in the design of electrode materials. In this study, the optimization scheme of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and cobalt-based MOF composites as electrode materials for SCs in new energy vehicles is explored, and a series of experiments are conducted to evaluate their performance. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images reveal that the cobalt-based MOF composites have a surface morphology of particles with uniform distribution.

Using the unsteady Bernoulli equation for the piping system and the angular momentum equation for the rotor, derives here a theoretical model to predict the startup performance of a pump as turbine (PAT). This model is effective for predicting the instantaneous evolution characteristics of the main performance parameters of PAT during startup, and these changings are initially faster and then slowly as a whole. The effect of the rotor moment of inertia and the final stabilized rotational speed of PAT on evolution characteristics of parameters is opposite.
