The objective was to investigate the impact of COVID-19 vaccination on anxiety, depression, stress perception, and psychiatric symptoms in patients with schizophrenia, and to explore severity of psychiatric symptoms is associated with vaccine hesitancy in individuals with schizophrenia. Mental health symptoms were evaluated in 273 hospitalized schizophrenia patients who received COVID-19 vaccination, and in 80 patients who refused vaccination, both before and after immunization. The study assessed the effects of vaccination on psychiatric symptoms and the potential association between vaccination behavior and psychological distress.

Introduction: Schizophrenia (SCZ), a severe neuropsychiatric disorder with high genetic susceptibility, has high rates of misdiagnosis due to the unavoidably subjective factors and heterogeneous clinical presentations. Hypoxia has been identified as an importantly risk factor that participates in the development of SCZ. Therefore, development of a hypoxia-related biomarker for SCZ diagnosis is promising.

Objective: To compare the therapeutic results and the occurrence of adverse reactions of medicine between the combined therapy of warm acupuncture at back- points of five organs and the western medicine and the simple wes-tern medication, and observe the therapeutic effect and attenuating effect of this combined therapy in treatment on depression of deficiency pattern.
Methods: A total of 80 patients with depression of deficiency pattern were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group (39 cases/group). In the control group, escitalopram oxalate tablets were administered orally every day.
