This research explores the various chaotic features of the hyperchaotic Chen dynamical system within a variable order fractional (VOF) calculus framework, employing an innovative approach with a nonlinear and adaptive radial basis function neural network. The study begins by computing the numerical solution of VOF differential equations for the hyperchaotic Chen system through a numerical scheme using the Caputo-Fabrizio derivative across a spectrum of different system control parameters. Subsequently, a comprehensive parametric model is formulated using RBFNN, considering the system's various initial values.

The cubic intuitionistic fuzzy set is an expansion of the cubic fuzzy set that displays massive information to demonstrate interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. This increment informs limitations essential in existing frameworks, primarily focusing on the significance of embracing our access for more accurate decisions in compound and unresolved structures. The Schweizer and Sklar (SS) operations are engaged in promoting strong aggregation operators for cubic intuitionistic fuzzy sets through this research.

Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Science, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, P.O. Box 84428, Riyadh, 11671, Saudi Arabia.

Non-response in surveys is a common problem faced by surveyors, this results in missing data. Missing values are often omitted when doing any statistical analysis, but this reduces the sample size and consequently decreases the precision of estimates. In such situations, imputation is a commonly used method to deal with missing data, this involves estimating the missing values based on the observed data.

Background And Aim: Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is commonly used to diagnose and treat bile duct and pancreatic disorders. Successful cannulation of the papilla is crucial for the effectiveness of ERCP; however, sometimes, it can be challenging to achieve. This study explores the relationship between net difficult ERCP cannulation with bile visibility, papilla orifice visibility, and papilla position and compares it with successful cannulation.

National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering College, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (NIBGE-C, PIEAS), Faisalabad, Pakistan. Electronic address:

Naringenin (Nrg) is the most abundant natural dietary flavonoid with promising anti-inflammatory potential. However, its therapeutic application is limited due to poor absorption, low bioavailability, and inability to cross physiological barriers. Herein, we designed biocompatible solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) to overcome these challenges and to enhance the oral bioavailability and therapeutic potential of Nrg.

Monoterpene indole alkaloids (MIAs) are valuable metabolites produced in numerous medicinal plants from the Apocynaceae family such as Alstonia scholaris, which synthesizes strictamine, a MIA displaying neuropharmacological properties of a potential importance. To get insights into the MIA metabolism in A. scholaris, we studied here both the spatial and transcriptional regulations of MIA genes by performing a robust transcriptomics analysis of the main plant organs, leaf epidermis but also by sequencing RNA from leaves transiently overexpressing the master transcriptional regulator MYC2.

Geological characterization and provenance of As-enriched aquifers in the Indus basin Pakistan: Tracing arsenic source from zircon trace element geochemistry and UPb isotope data.

Sci Total Environ

January 2025

Environmental Hydro-geochemistry Laboratory, Department of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Biological Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, PO 45320, Pakistan. Electronic address:

Article Synopsis
  • Geochemical surveys in Punjab’s floodplains show significant groundwater contamination with Arsenic (As), with ongoing uncertainty about its exact sources despite extensive research.
  • Researchers collected sediment samples from four boreholes and used zircon trace element geochemistry and UPb isotope analyses to identify the primary sources of As in the sediment.
  • Results revealed two main sediment types, with specific minerals identified as potential As hosts, and indicated that the sediments likely originated from magmatic rocks in the Himalayan range, showing complex interactions in the sediment formation process.

Cone snails are venomous marine gastropods comprising more than 950 species widely distributed across different habitats. Their conical shells are remarkably similar to those of other invertebrates in terms of color, pattern, and size. For these reasons, assigning taxonomic signatures to cone snail shells is a challenging task.

Article Synopsis
  • The CMS experiment conducted a search for charge-parity violation in decays using proton-proton collision data from 2018, analyzing around 10 billion events with b hadrons decaying into charm hadrons.
  • The flavor of the neutral D meson was determined through the charge of pions in the reconstructed decays, and an asymmetry measurement in the decays was reported, taking into account various uncertainties.
  • This research marks the first asymmetry measurement by the CMS in the charm sector and the first to use a fully hadronic final state in such analyses.

Rapid advancement in information technology promotes the growth of new online learning communities in an e-learning environment that overloads information and data sharing. When a new learner asks a question, how a system recommends the answer is the problem of the learner's cold start. In this article, our contributions are: (i) We proposed a Trust-aware Deep Neural Recommendation (TDNR) framework that addresses learner cold-start issues in informal e-learning by modeling complex nonlinear relationships.

Background: Stress is among the most common comorbid conditions with epilepsy and a strong factor in the pathophysiology of seizures. An imbalance in neuronal circuits causes recurrent unprovoked seizures in epilepsy. Dysregulation of BDNF/VEGF expression, oxidative stress, increased levels of neuroinflammatory cytokines, and increased expression of apoptotic genes contribute to the underlying cause of the seizure.
