This article presents a novel approach for decision-making problems in which the criteria and alternatives are evaluated under a q-rung linguistic neutrosophic set (QRLNS) environment. QRLN sets are an extension of the traditional linguistic variables, which allow more flexibility and accuracy in modeling complex decision-making situations. We introduce several QRLN weighted aggregation operators, including QRLN weighted averaging operator, QRLN weighted geometric operator, and QRLN weighted hybrid operator, which can be used to aggregate the QRLN information provided by decision-makers.

Copper(II) complexes with a general formula [Cu(3,4-FCHCHCOO)(L)], where L = 2-methylpyridine () and 3-methylpyridine (), are reported here. The FTIR spectra of the complexes confirmed the bridging bidentate coordination mode of the carboxylate ligand. The low (475 and 449 cm) and strong (727 & 725 cm) intensity bands in the FTIR spectra, due to Cu-N stretches and pyridyl ring vibrations, confirmed coordination of the 2-/3-methyl pyridine co-ligands in complexes and , respectively.

-Triazine possesses an auspicious status in the field of drug discovery and development owing to its presence in many naturally occurring compounds as well as commercially available drugs like enasidenib, gedatolisib, bimiralisib, atrazine, indaziflam, and triaziflam. Easy, cost-effective, and efficient access to its derivatives in addition to their splendid biological activities such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anticonvulsant, anti-tubercular, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, makes it an attractive heterocyclic nucleus in the field of medicinal chemistry. Other than the direct access of its derivatives from simple commercially available starting materials like amidine, the -triazine derivatives have also been obtained starting from an inexpensive commercially available 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine (TCT) commonly known as cyanuric chloride.

The growing usage of antibiotics and their subsequent release in water bodies have become a serious environmental concern. In this study, heterostructured photocatalysts CN/NbO have been synthesized using a simple hydrothermal method and applied to facilitate the degradation of the widely used antibiotic levofloxacin. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of the photocatalysts were characterized using XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis and PL to establish the structure-property relationship.

Hybrid composites of molybdenum disulfide (MoS), graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) and polyaniline (PANI)/polypyrrole (PPy) have been synthesized as cost-effective electrode materials for supercapacitors. We have produced MoS from molybdenum dithiocarbamate by a melt method in an inert environment and then used a liquid exfoliation method to form its composite with graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) and polymers (PANI and PPy). The MoS melt/GNP ratio in the resultant composites was 1 : 3 and the polymer was 10% by wt.

The zoonotic pathogen, Nipah virus, is considered a potential healthcare threat due to its high mortality rates and detrimental symptoms like encephalitis. Ribavirin, an antiviral drug helps in overcoming the number of casualties and reducing the mortality rate, but no long-lasting solution has been proposed yet putting global health security in jeopardy. Given the cognizance of mRNA-based vaccines as safe and efficacious preventative strategies against pathogens, the current study has utilized the reverse-vaccinology approach coupled with immunoinformatics to propose an mRNA-based vaccine candidate against the Nipah virus.

We report on how Co substitution of the Fe sites of pseudobrookite (FeTiO) influences the crystal structure, high-temperature electric permittivity, impedance, electronic structure, magnetic, and optical properties experimental and theoretical investigations. The pseudobrookite phase contains two types of octahedral sites, Fe atoms reside on type of the sites while Ti on the others and replacing Fe with Co can have a huge influence on one or more physical properties that can render the material more useful for solar energy applications. X-ray diffraction and high-temperature electric permittivity/impedance were the experimental tools used.

Background: Although defects in sperm morphology and physiology lead to male infertility, in many instances, the exact disruption of molecular pathways in a given patient is often unknown. The glycolytic pathway is an essential process to supply energy in sperm cell motility. Enolase 4 (ENO4) is crucial for the glycolytic process, which provides the energy for sperm cells in motility.

Smoking has been linked to male infertility by affecting the sperm epigenome and genome. In this study, we aimed to determine possible changes in the transcript levels of (the phosphoglycerate mutase family member 5), (protein tyrosine phosphatase, N2-type receptor), and (tyrosine protein kinase receptor) in heavy smokers compared to non-smokers, and to investigate their association with the fundamental sperm parameters. In total, 118 sperm samples (63 heavy-smokers (G1) and 55 non-smokers (G2)) were included in this study.
