Development and validation of the Iranian version of the Patient Privacy and Confidentiality Scale.

The aim of this study was to develop and psychometrically validate the Iranian scale of patient privacy and confidentiality. This methodological study was conducted in two stages: first, a conventional content analysis was used to qualitatively identify concepts of privacy and confidentiality. Then, the face validity, content validity, and construct validity were assessed.

Evaluation of serotonin receptors (5HTR2A and 5HTR3A) mRNA expression changes in tumor of breast cancer patients.

Several studies have proven the pattern of neurotransmitters, especially serotonin, in carcinogenesis and tumor development. Several studies have also shown that changes in serotonin receptors, especially 5HTR2A and 5HTR3A, can play an important role in incidence of cancers. This study was conducted to investigate changes in mRNA expression of 5HTR2A and 5HTR3A receptors in the breast tumor tissue compared to their marginal zone.

Antibacterial Activity of Gold Nanoparticles Conjugated by Aminoglycosides Against Isolates from Burn Patients.

Background And Objective: Today, resistance to multiple classes of antibiotics, and notably to the β-lactam and aminoglycosides in A. baumannii is becoming a great problem and it necessitates to make a new approach to combat with multidrug-resistant (MDR), extensive drug-resistance (XDR) or Pandrug-resistant (PDR) isolates. In this case, a new strategy and ways should be designed and introduced against such infections.
