The Response Mechanism of the cbbM Carbon Sequestration Microbial Community in the Alpine Wetlands of Qinghai Lake to Changes in Precipitation.

The dramatic changes in precipitation patterns on the Tibetan Plateau affected the carbon-sequestering microbial communities within wetland ecosystems, which were closely related to the responses and adaptation mechanisms of alpine wetland ecosystems to climate change. This study focused on wetland soils subjected to different precipitation gradient treatments and employed high-throughput sequencing technology to analyze the soil cbbM carbon-sequestering microbial communities. The results indicated that Proteobacteria were the dominant microbial community responsible for carbon sequestration in the Wayan Mountain wetland.

As the most effective way to remedy and reconstruct the degraded ecosystems, vegetation restoration could affect soil carbon and nitrogen cycles and water balance. We examined the responses of carbon, nitrogen, and water in 0-200 cm soil layer to vegetation restoration years by analyzing their distribution characteristics across a restoration chronosequence of plantation (5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years) in alpine sandy region of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. The results showed that the content and storage of soil organic carbon (SOC) and soil total nitrogen (STN) increased significantly, while that of soil inorganic carbon (SIC) decreased significantly with restoration years.

Polysulfide shuttling and dendrite growth are two primary challenges that significantly limit the practical applications of lithium-sulfur batteries (LSBs). Herein, a three-in-one strategy for a separator based on a localized electrostatic field is demonstrated to simultaneously achieve shuttle inhibition of polysulfides, catalytic activation of the Li-S reaction, and dendrite-free plating of lithium ions. Specifically, an interlayer of polyacrylonitrile nanofiber (PNF) incorporating poled BaTiO (PBTO) particles and coating with a layer of MoS (PBTO@PNF-MoS) is developed on the PP separator.

The gene arrangement pattern was identical to that of other teleosts.
